What is the worst case if you don't bring something at interview that you already sent to nvc or not requested from you- photocopies or any documents ?. NVC sent detailed letter stating that all documents needed for the case are there. So if we go with interview letter/medical or whatever we think right (any photocopies or new docs), can it be a major problem?. Please need help. Interview in India

I have filed immigrant visa for my wife . I have give joint affidavit of support from my brother-in law as I am unemployed since april 2009 till date. I didn't sent any of the W2's, just the tax transcripts only but rest all fine. I checked a lot and they said if joint sponsor's income is good enough thats ok. Is there any employment related document ( from me or joint sponsor) that she should take, which can really effect the interview. If NVC accepted everything and didn't demand anything like W2's, is it required to still find them and take them to interview ( of course they are only few from last 1-2 years). Is there any other document (apart from employment related) that we sent to NVC but still definitely required to take copies (else it can impact interview). I think if its all clean and clear, these things should not impact interview .

Other things I am recommending is emails and photographs. Interview is in India. Please need help. Thanks

If they question for employment, can they reject the visa forever or can they tell to get employment and then carry on

The income of joint sponsor is very good though. Can they still question or any chances of rejection?. I called NVC and they said its good enough

I (petitioner) don't have employment for last 9 months. My relative has given a joint affidavit of support. Can they question my wife or can reject her visa based on this fact ?....Need advice

Will they need any document from joint sponsor at the time of interview ?. Has anybody been rejected visa because petitioner is unemployed, though having joint sponsor ?. Also if I stay out of country for some time before interview, can it effect chances of getting visa ?.

I (petitioner) am unemployed since april 2009. My brother-in-law has filed I-864 as a joint sponsor. What if I am not able to get a job before the interview ?. I didn't sent my birth certificate with I-130 Application. Now I have paid fee for packet IV (applicant documents). In that packet also beneficiary needs to send her birth certificate. Is birth certificate of petitioner required at any stage or at the time of interview ?. If yes in original or photocopy...

We went to district magistrate office and they told us that they will issue the character certificate ( which is issued after police clearance though). But requirement for visa is PCC I believe. Is Police Clearance Certificate issued by the passport office?. Or is character certificate ok. Any idea how much time it might can take ?

a) I am the petitioner. I received the DS-3032 form, got it filled by beneficiary and mailed it to NVC. Not sure why the beneficiary hasn't received it.

I have paid AOS fee of $70 to NVC. I think next step will be sending I-864 packet ( correct me if I am wrong). Is it ok to send the offer letter if I have just accepted a job ?. If I send the offer letter right now , can they reject visa or still ask for employment letter and pay stubs later ( may be during or before interview anytime). Also I am planning to get my sister or my brother in law as co-sponsor as I don't have income for this year (do I really need a co-sponsor if I don't have income or job for the current year). My sister is a US Citizen but my brother in-law is a Permanent Resident - does it really matter which one I choose ??......Thanks

I have received NOA2 hardcopy from CSC about 2 weeks back, though I didn't receive any email regarding that and no email/letter for further processing. I really need some advice about the remaining process and the timeframe it can take as arranging documents can take time in India.

How many days after NOA2 next letter or email is expected ?.

Around what timeframe (which month) we can expected the final interview ?.

What are the documents required after this stage and can we arrange those before hand as police certificate etc. have a validity of 6 months ?.

I am a US citizen and I filed I-130 for my wife on May 3rd, 2009. Haven't received NOA2 yet. I am planning a trip to India. I would like to know how much time I can spend there . After I receive NOA2, can I send documenst required thereafter from India ?. Or they need to be sent from US only?....Thanks

I sent our I-130 to CSC on May 3rd, 2009 with Affidavits ( as evidence of bonafied marriage). I received NOA1 in May itself but I think right now the time period for NAO2 is approx. 112 days.

I would like to know what is actually NAO2 and what sort of documents I need to send in response to NAO2 (after I get NAO2) ?. Please let me know what all possible documents I should collect for NAO2 and for a stage later. Can they ask for more evidence of bonafied marriage ?(in case affidavits are not sufficient) ?
