Filed for wife's green card(I130) in 2006. I was still permanent resident. We have been waiting since then. Now once I become citizen (my oath is on 25th February 2010) then her case will be upgraded. Her I130 was approved in June 2009. I have paid IV bill and AOS bill fees. I got my citizenship on Feb25th. Request sent to upgrade her case on 25th. Case was upgraded on March 29th(letter dated). No packet of information was received as I talked to the lady over the phone from NVC and she told me that they will not send me any packet since I have already paid both the fees online and I just need to complete the forms and send them back ASAP. Misleading information on their AVR. Hence I wasted 6 months waiting for the packet of information. Well finally I sent the required docs on 04-13-10. NVC received the documents on 04-19-10. RFE generated on 04-28-10. RFE response sent on 05-04-10. RFE entered into system on 05-11-10.Case was completed on 05-19-10.Waiting for Interview date. Interview date assigned for 07-29-10. Case left NVC on 06-03-10. Done with NVC.
