  1. Infopass appointment today to try and find out why it has been over 8 weeks since our "approved" AOS interview and we have no notice, information, or greencard. The immigration information officer at the window said he would go talk to IO that did our interview....he came back out and IO said busy all day, cannot spare any time to look into it. Information officer too my phone number and said they will call. I will hold my bnreath for that! I did look at a paper that information officer had about our case and it said "in audit". Anybody have any idea what this may mean? I have not received notice on the USCIS website since case was received, I guess I will just sit and wonder what is going on while I wait on the IO to find time to see what is going on.

Again, does anyone know what "in audit" means.

    Thank you.

  2. My wife is filing her AOS while here in US. We are filing my stepdaughters I-130 who is in another country. The California service center sent my daughters case to our local office and said it was sent there for normal interview..only problem is she is in another country. CSC said her application had finished intial processing.

When we went for my wifes AOS interview on 3-12-09, they had daughters case and IO said they should have sent to visa center and he would take care of it. Have not heard anything in 2 months(notice, touched, NVC received) nothing. I called NVC and they did not receive. 2 infopass appts and noone will tell me anything.

BTW- Wife had "approved" interview on 3-12-09 and we have not heard anything(approval notice, card production, greencard) nothing!!!!! 2 infopass appointments later....nothing!!!!!

Anyone know what might be going on?

    Im getting really frustrated!!

    Thanks so much.

  3. I have another Infopass appointment next week. It will be over two months since our "approved" interview. If I get no information then I will pursue another avenue. (Contact Senator?).

Im very suprised by this because our IO that did interview was very professional and very squared away, I was very confident we would have our papers taken care off.

Well I guess another couple months of checking mailbox every day and getting dissapointed is in the future. I will be sooooooo glad when this is over.

  4. We filed AOS on 12-1-08, had interview on 3-12-09, IO said approved. Have not heard anything yet....No notice of approval, no "Welcome to America", no greencard. Have called 1-800 number many, many times. 2 infopass appointments and still not a bit of information. They will not tell us anything....application still processing. I am getting very frustrated!

Anyone have any advice or insight on this matter, I am trying to stay patient and optimistic but this is quite stressful.

    Thanks everyone.
