Our Story
erik and i met online in 2008. After about 8 months of talking i decided to go and visit him in NJ. I remember sitting on a plane half way there thinking what the hell am i doing. Once i arrived we met for the first time and it was then we realised that we have something really special.
We got married in upstate new york in Jan 2009. It wasnt a big wedding it was a ceremony between us very small simple and special.
We then spent a year and a half not really knowing what to do wheither he would come to the UK or me go there. Through circumstances we decided that i should go there.
It has been a long journey for both of us so far. I just came back from the states and leaving was one of the hardest things i have ever done. I miss erik and my big extended family who have been so good to me.
We cant wait for the process to be over. The US has one of the hardest visa systems.
I am praying that our VJ goes quick and successful.
