I am a US citizen and a Fulbright scholar in Ankara 2008-09 academic year. Mithat and I met in the neighborhood where I live. I will return to the US in June. We filed for the K-1 for him. It was received in the CA Svc Ctr on 5-4-09 and my check for the fee cleared on 5-18-09. This means at least they have opened the envelope!
