  1. guys, do you have any thoughts about what had happened to me? I just finished interview today,it all went smoothly but on my final interview the consul did not say if I was approved or denied they did not return my passport anyway.

it's the mail order bride factor.

it all depends on the country, In France they are happy to let you know right away if your visa is approved.

  2. why do some VJ members like to mention God for all there hard work?

I know about freedom of religion, but come on now!

does anybody else feel this way also?

I believe there may be a God just like most people.

but I don't go around preaching this to other VJ members.

I like to deal with facts versus believes, and I also speak the truth!

I find that hard work and praying to God gives me and others the same results as hard work only.

and I also find that praying only gives you no results!

so my conclusion is, praying obviosly does not help.

  3. Thank GOD! Got a Text tonight,

"On July 13, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice."

    On to the next step!

    Thanks, everyone!

same here, except I got mine on the 11th.

but I see no reason to start a thread and seek attention. (i hope you can take a joke!)

a big congrats to the both of us!

it does help a little to let other VJ members know you got approved!

so keep up the good work!

  4. where you maried for 2 years?

so it takes about a month to get a green card after your interview?

    and congrats!

July 8: Social Security replacement card received

    July 9: Welcome letter received

July 13: Conditional Green Card received

Received GC today via USPS priority mail. It took 16 days (12 business days) upon arrival. Can't believe everything arrived in a timely manner. Feel so lucky lol. Never imagined I receive a GC before purchasing a car....!

  5. God = Visa Officer in Casablanca? Then I agree with you.

Otherwise, your 'post' is pedantic. Yer making a collection of these, btw. I pray you stop, soon.

To 'be pedantic' is not useful for folk seeking advice here. In fact, your 'writings' have a high probability of being hurtful, should one actually follow your advice.

    exactly! you got that right!

I believe there may be a God but I am not one to lay it on others until God is a reality. (a fact)

  6. you have just given the OP some false information.

first of all you only need to include your last year tax return. So 1 year is fine. YOU SAID 3 years!!! wrong!

second, if you have a co-sponsor, there is no reason to show more than your last year tax return!

the sponsor, YES, 3 years would be best.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegrams/telegrams_2863.html link to proof I am right.

"2. Summary. Effective immediately, sponsors filing an I-864

are required to submit only their Federal tax return for their

most recent tax year, current as of the date of execution of the

    I-864."

You do need to supply proof of a US domicile. And either file missing US tax returns for the past 3 years or include an affidavit as to why you were not required to file for any of those years. Being outside the US is not a reason. Not earning enough to file is a reason. See page 8 of the I-864 instructions for more information.

The I-864 FAQ link in my signature below also has information.

  7. assets would be around 70 to 80 grand. 3 times salary.

but cash is better or very liquid assets.

if I was to do this all over again. The first Step is to make sure you have a sponsor or the money requirments.

your best option now is to become a Morocco Citizen.

or you may get very lucky and find a sponsor. but so far it sounds like you will not be able to.

this rule is one reason I hate the US immigration laws.

  8. Yea we did we send in like 700 peices of paper plus more than 200 pictures lol so you can imagine what that envelope looked like we send text messaging..phone call records...text that showed what we were talking to eachother...facebook chats...my plane tickets...and copy of my passport that showed I had been there..and he also had recieps of when he bought me jewlery also we send that..so hopefully we don't have to wait long...Monday was the interview on Tuesday we mailed everything in with fast shipping and wensday it got there.

so why didn't you bring this evidence to the interview in the first place?
