Dean and I met while I was travelling in Belize in Aug. of 2003. We became instant friends as I met him the very first day of arriving. We kept in touch after I returned home and our relationship only got stronger. We both came into each others lives at the perfect time and I will always be grateful for that.
We went through a lot with the I-129F and then after waiting almost 180 days for the approval I decided to move to Belize. I only did this because Dean was offered a great business opportunity that we didn't want to pass up. So we figured the US could come later. I moved permanently to a small island off the coast of Belize in June of 2005 and after some adjusting I'm happier than ever.
Now we are going to accomplish some new goals in our lives that may have us in different countries for awhile and I am not looking forward to it but as so many of you know...it is possible and our relationships are so much stronger because of it. We were married on December 29, 2006 and are trying to figure out the best way to have him travel with me to the US as much as possible but without immigrating because he will have to stay in Belize for much of the time to run our business. Anyone is always welcome to write me for any questions regarding the I-129F process, my relationship in Belize, living in Belize or anything else you may want to know.
