  1. There are a couple, but minor and none you would want to go to. so many weird things in US immigration this would not make my top 5. If there is ever Immigration Reform no doubt this will go, what happens to existing petitions is anyone’s guess.
  2. Canada might not work, their rules can be much stronger than the US. The Consulate seems to think it is waiverable, they have given the opportunity. And most well prepared waivers are approved.

  4. I have seen it mentioned that being able to apply on line increased the numbers, anyway more and more people are applying so the line inevitably gets longer. There was a lady on here whose spouse naturalised and has 20 siblings many are married with children, they have it planned how to cascade the process, now who knows how many will still be alive, will want to come, still be married, have children who have not aged out etc. But however you dice it, will be a lot.

  13. There is no set time for a 221g I would think a lot depends on what they have to review.

  15. South Africa USC spouse always going to be a long shot without the I 130
  16. I see no downside
  17. Do you have a joint sponsor, best to plan to be back and working before the interview.
  18. You have 40 quarters I take it, an E2 or a H1b, well I can not think what else.
