Each country has its own very different immigration laws. English as the primary language cuts it down a bit. Obviously depends on what basis. As a general comment work transfer it often the easiest. Canada has had issues of late, saw that they are now refusing 80% of Indian Student applications

200 yds well I would need to get some practice in. Mention of a scope assuming it was zeroed in at point blank that would be about a 10 inch drop for an average .308. Hunting you would most often need to lead your target but stationary and someone who has range time you would not even need anything special in the way of a scope. if he know the distance he could have zeroed beforehand. Where I am 200 yds would be a normal range so most set it for that.

Seems quite common to interview in other Countries. She applied at the Polish Consulate? Or the Greek? I thought you applied for a Schengen based on your country of destination.

As you pointed out the time to have applied for a SB1 would have been at least at 18, they are hard enough to get but in your case a prety simple refusal. You seem to know your options, I assume you have done nothing to maintaing your LPR status.
