    I would put together a new clean application and double check everything is right.

    You sponsored your father, I seem to recollect the DS260 asks for children but that is more for information purposes. Children are not required or allowed to attend the interview, there is no purpose.

    I remember going to Turkey 20 something years ago, visa on arrival, my cost was minimal but the US Passport was a lot lot more.

    It sounds like you are doing the Greencard process now and will enter with an immigrant visa? Also that you are not Spanish? Anyway they can do a titre test to see what you have had and need.

    Some work visas are dual intent so not an issue. The big question is which one, might be an issue.

    You have to have a valid reason to expedite so not knowing your circumstances etc I would focus on that Presumably you have a joint sponsor?

    If it was an Iranian case who interviewed nearby I would be thinking a year. one who is resident in Canada well that sounds more positive? But no way of really knowing, how many similar cases do we see? Still intrigued a bout the remote nature of the course, could you not attend by Zoom? Or do it as a visitor? Need to do some research.
