  1. The stamp I 551 is effectively a Green Card and is proof of her status and ability to file. I assume you are not eligible to apply.
  2. I am taking one for the team and am listening to NPR. Morning Edition playing. Currently talking about White Supremacy....
  3. Sooner the better, many of us have visited during the process.
  4. The New York Times Solution seems to be to ignore it. The Local MSM have covered it and seem unable to work out how to spin it. It is obviously time to go, has been for a long time, but there is now no hiding, now I know how the UK Parties do it but do not know how the coup de grace would be administered here, who steps up?
  5. I have yet to come across a successful waiver for TB. Who would file and the hardships would be very challenging. I speak as someone whose family have a history of TB. As mentioned it would not make much sense as the treatment is quicker than the the time taken to process a waiver.
  6. So he snuck in? To adjust status he would need to have a status to adjust from and he does not. I assume he is looking at ! 130 and I 601a but obviously a case for a Lawyer.
  7. If you ask them to explain why you are incorrect and post it here we can put together a reply for you.
  8. You get more leeway for CSPA if adjusting. I did not mention it as it does not apply to you.
  9. That seems an odd route, why did he not wait a year and go for CAA. Assuming you are a USC that you can file the I 130. How did he enter?
  10. I have seen plenty of Armed Forces cases that have not involved longer than usual AP
  11. Canadians tend to have an easy time visiting and to some extent the ship has sailed anyway.
  12. In Mexico police certificates are only available for applicants 18 and over. A police certificate from every state in Mexico is generally not required for an IV application. A single police certificate is sufficient. Only when an IV applicant has lived in Mexico for six months or more and after the age of 18 is a police certificate required. However, consular officers may request a state police certificate where an individual was resident for more than six (months) on a case by cases basis.
  13. Police Certificates Available Comments: Available but unreliable. Police records are not required for immigrant visa applicants because posts cannot verify them. Clean record certificates can be obtained in Iran or from Iranian Embassies and Consulates, and the physical appearance of the certificate changes significantly depending on which authority issued it. Court/Prison Records Available Comments: Available but unreliable. Court and prison documents are not required because posts cannot verify them.
