    I thought I had posted? Anyway not sure why you applied for ESTA when you are not eligible. You did get an expedited appointment for a Visa interview and assume you will be issued one. However yes they did issue visas same day but that was many years ago and I have not heard of that happening any time recently. Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance? I would be very surprised of you had a claim, certainly not normal but I seem to remember there is cover you can buy for cancelling for any reason?, not available in my time and I assume most people do not. Got to be expensive.

    Which Consulate will she be interviewing at. I sometimes think I have seen it, heard it, but I am sure there are things the USCIS have seen I have not, they have seen this a thousand times, do not mess it up.

    Who Is Not Required to Attend the interview Your family members under the age of 14 on the day of the interview, even if they are noted as traveling applicants on the Interview Appointment Letter you receive from the National Visa Center (NVC). Where would they do the medicals?

    I have seen plenty of cases where people have had an interview been refused and waited it out for the ban and then had the visa issued. Might be cleaner to have the interview as soon after the bar is over.

    It used to be you walked out with the visa but that was a looong time ago. On average they seem to take a week, how long yours will be is another issue.

    So did I, well to be precise to self sponsor, one of the reasons it is good to fill out your details. Now adjusting was interesting and I assume mine was a sort of one off as by then my Sponsor had gone back to Uni, and the Officer decided to ignore that.
