  2. Why are you going the K1 route? If she has a Visitor Visa she can visit, we have a mega Thread on the subject. You need to show you met her not her Mother.
  3. Why does he think he is eligible to go the DCF route? Probably a good idea for him to join as it does not seem he has shared his plans with you.
  4. Sounds more like your Husband wants toi file DCF. Do you know on what basis?
  5. Heinz Tomato Ketchup was advertised: "Blessed relief for Mother and the other women in the household!", a slogan which alluded to the lengthy process required to produce tomato ketchup in the home. Amazing how easy they have it now.
  6. Mine was about an hour? And even then most of that time was hanging around.
  7. That is not how it works. If she needs to visit the US for urgent medical treatment that look a the B2 Medical Visa.
  8. Jim had a classic on 2 days ago, in this case this guy had been visited and was trying to prove the opposite, that he was not cohabitating with an ex wife whilst married to a USC. As he explained it they lived at opposite ends of the building. I envisaged some massive mansion with one of those very long dining tables, turned out to be a 2 bedroom apartment. Now this does sound more like that standard US Film from the 1950's arrangement.

  10. If the +1 was for example a US Citizen there would be no issue and they would cover your expenses as defined. But you are not so the only option you have currently is to visit, I assume you can use the VWP which is up to 90 days, I would not push it that far, and that you will find out in April what sort of expenses they will reimburse, flights, living costs whatever. Maybe x flights a year and a per diem?
  11. Permit Usually new residents can for a while which varies by State. Some are more generous than others.
  12. Definitely check with the Consulate 2 weeks is tight
  13. You were told what to do. But seem to have ignored that.
  14. The way I read it is that he does not have a Visa.
  15. IAnd if you are short of money the last thing you want to do is delay EAD.
  16. You mention no basis for him to be admitted to the US, presumably he has the Mothers permission to travel to leave the US.
  17. Unmarried children of a USC are F1, but they can keep their PD of F2b is it is beneficial. Married children of USC are F3, they get to bring their Spouse and underage children.
  18. Yes they would, how are they getting their Million not subject to tax?
  19. ‘Hypocrisy’: Tata builds vast India furnace despite Port Talbot emissions claims Owner says shutting Welsh blast furnaces will cut emissions, but it is opening a new one in India https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/jan/24/unions-accuse-tata-of-hypocrisy-over-port-talbot-closure-green-claims In announcing the redundancies last week, the company said that the overhaul would “secure most of Tata Steel UK’s existing product capability and maintain the country’s self-sufficiency in steelmaking, while also reducing Tata Steel UK’s CO2 emissions by 5 million tonnes per year and overall UK country emissions by about 1.5%”. However, the project at Kalinganagar could increase the company’s overall global emissions. It will be among the largest blast furnaces in the world, with a 5,870 cubic metre capacity, and is due to be completed this year. I had relations who worked at Port Talbot, not sure if any distant ones do now, if so for not much longer. Many saw it as a better bet than the Mines.
