  1. https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/13/europe/italy-groping-court-ruling-scli-intl/index.html I had heard of the 3 second rule for food but this is something else.
  2. Not a Lawyer a Notario. I would check everything he filed and your Brother signed, hopefully he have copies. This is not difficult but you need to pay attention. As a general comment nobody is interested in his case as he is, so check double check everything.
  3. So he did not specify if it was Consulate or Adjusting
  4. I wonder if the numbers were reversed, for example if your Birthday is 20th January there can be no confusion, but 5th January could be misread as 1st May.
  5. No problem, remember they update every month about this time.
  6. I would not go that far. But certainly not something to dilly dally about.
  7. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-august-2023.html
  8. You mention your father and mother. Are they married?
  9. Dylan is hanging with Paddington Bear, I agree an odd choice but assume will just look like some weird Yankee.
  10. If you can get a company move for the duration that would be cool, if you are starting from scratch well that could be difficult.
  11. It could be that your Brother knows the situation and you are confused, anyway lots of good information here.
  12. Well that was the wrong thread so back to this one. No whether a Congressperson staffer keeps up with the Visa Bulletin I do not know, I assume some do and some do not. Not uncommon for categories to retrogress especially towards the end of the year, they are running out of visa numbers so have turned the flow down.
  13. I agree, you are too deep into the process, well there are some Consulates and situations where a K1 is a really bad idea bit you mention being able to move to France so that is unlikely to apply to you.
  14. CNN apologized Wednesday for misgendering transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in a segment aired this week touching on Mulvaney’s role in a right-wing boycott against Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch. Bud Light has faced months of conservative backlash over a brief partnership with Mulvaney in March that involved a sponsored Instagram post. Sales of the beverage have plummeted since then, and Bud Light in June lost its spot as the nation’s bestselling beer. In a Tuesday segment on the controversy, CNN national correspondent Ryan Young used male pronouns to refer to Mulvaney, a transgender woman. Everybody knows Dylan is a Transgender Girl, CNN, TheHill do better!
  15. Certainly does you may wish to see if you can expedite
  16. The safe route would be for her to head over first, set up, get a job, have some pay slips before you interview, now will your plan work, maybe, maybe not.
  17. I never like absolutes as there are always exceptions. Generally Canada is pretty strong on wanting to see the USC in the US and if possible income always beats assets for whatever reason. Has your Wife been filing US taxes, how do they look as far as income is concerned?
  18. She has the seat set too low, if she had actually cycled any distance her legs will hurt.
  19. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/10/sport/brittney-griner-dallas-airport-harassment/index.html Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was freed from Russia late last year after being wrongfully detained, was harassed Saturday by a man described as a social media “provocateur” at a Dallas airport. A source familiar with the incident told CNN that around 9:30 am CT, Griner was at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport traveling with Phoenix Mercury teammates on their way to a game. Griner was confronted by the man who was yelling at her about “the Merchant of Death.” The confrontation got so heated that the man was tackled, and law enforcement was involved, according to the source. CNN has reached out to local law enforcement and the DFW airport about the incident. “The health and well-being of our players and staff are our top priority and we will always take every step within our power to protect player safety,” the statement said. “No one, regardless of identity, should ever fear for their safety. We will be coordinating with the WNBA on next steps,” it continued. Griner’s teammate, Brianna Turner, posted to Twitter on Saturday, saying, “Player safety while traveling should be at the forefront. People following with cameras saying wild remarks is never acceptable. Excessive harassment. Our team nervously huddled in a corner unsure how to move about. We demand better.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I would recognise Bob, but any other member of the WNBA? I thought they would be delighted somebody recognised them.
  20. I had not really thought about this other than being told when checking out at a Supermarket now is the time to enter your Coupons, what Coupons? I would assume they were overcharging up front to pay for the rebate so look for something else.
  21. https://www.givesendgo.com/daniel_penny $315k as posting, it went up $30k in 10 minutes?
  22. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11641737/San-Frans-reparations-committee-proposes-5-million-black-longtime-resident.html San Francisco's reparations committee will propose paying $5million to each longtime black resident of the city in a reparations plan this spring. To qualify, people need to have identified as black on public records for at least 10 years and be at least 18 years old. They also must qualify for two of a number of requirements, including having been born in the city or migrated to it between 1940 and 1996 and then lived there for 13 years. It is unclear exactly how many people would qualify should the proposal pass, but if just 10,000 people qualified it would cost at least $50billion. The proposal will be submitted to Mayor London Breed and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission in June. Board President Aaron Peskin told the San Francisco Chronicle he hopes the proposal will pass. The proposal also offers a number of other requirements to be handed out to qualifiers, including the creation of a 'comprehensive debt forgiveness program' which would eliminate credit card and other debts, along with student and housing loans. The proposal also says qualifying low-income households should have their income supplemented to match the city's median income - $97,000 in 2022 - for the next 250 years. 'Racial disparities across all metrics have led to a significant racial wealth gap in the City of San Francisco,' the draft states. 'By elevating income to match AMI, Black people can better afford housing and achieve a better quality of life.' A number of other proposals include investment in San Francisco's black community, financial education, legal protections of people's reparations, tax credits, and black-owned banks being brought in to manage people's money. The proposal also says San Francisco 'issue a formal apology for past harms, and commit to making substantial ongoing, systemic and programmatic investments in Black communities to address historical harms.'
  23. WashingtonCNN — Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was attacked at the couple’s home in San Francisco early Friday morning, the Democratic speaker’s office said in a statement. He is expected to make a full recovery. Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Nancy Pelosi, said the assailant is in custody and a motive is being investigated. The speaker was in Washington at the time of the attack, a spokesperson said. This story is breaking and will be updated. https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/28/politics/paul-pelosi-attack/index.html Not sure it is supposed to work like this.
