    No limit on the number of petitions you can have. There could be an issue with the Sponsor and Joint Sponsor and US presence. Trying to remember but thought I saw a case Casablanca last year where the Consulate had an issue with a sponsor who got LPR headed home under the re entry permit having sponsored family. After all this is a family reunification visa and the re entry permit just says what is says on the box and nothing more.

    Sort of a chicken and egg situation, you need him here so you can work, and to get him here you need a joint sponsor.

    https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative Here is how you find your rep. I assume you have a Joint Sponsor for the Immigration side, expediting is common, not an obvious case but you never know and it is free to apply and has no downside so why not try?

    Normally this is where there has been an asylum claim where eventually it ends up in Immigration Court, meanwhile the claimant has found a USC to marry and want to stop the asylum process and go with marriage based adjustment. Normally. Really down to your lawyer the prosecution lawyer and the judge, not a standard process, the person to ask is your Lawyer..

    There was a bit about this on NPR yesterday, so there is a Congressional process to off load him but the commentators thought this was very unlikely, they did not exactly say so but obviously setting such a precedent well, not a good way to go when there are so many other contenders. Who would be next? The suggestion was that he may have separate financial investigations against him, where did all this money come from? Also cheque fraud from Brazil has popped up from many years ago. His first day in office is today!
