  1. Well you are probably looking at an IR1, the requirement for a I 601 is determined by the interviewer at the time of the Immigrant Visa interview.
  2. I did a quick google and came up with lots of Lawyers, now obviously we do not know your situation in detail but it seems to fall into this category Immediate Relative Petition Under this third type of adoption, an adopted child is considered to be the child (or adult son or daughter) of the adopting parent if: (1) the parent adopted the child before his or her 16th birthday (or before the 18th birthday under certain circumstances). You submit evidence of a full and final adoption AND; (2) the parent had legal and physical custody of the child for at least two years while the child was a minor (certain other requirements must be met). \
  3. AN AVALANCHE OF FIBS An interview with George Santos before his lies came to light https://piaui.folha.uol.com.br/an-avalanche-of-fibs/
  4. This is a lawyer situation and normally the requirement is to have 2 years in your custody. When are you looking to move?
  5. The US’s transition to electric vehicles could require three times as much lithium as is currently produced for the entire global market, causing needless water shortages, Indigenous land grabs, and ecosystem destruction inside and outside its borders, new research finds. It warns that unless the US’s dependence on cars in towns and cities falls drastically, the transition to lithium battery-powered electric vehicles by 2050 will deepen global environmental and social inequalities linked to mining – and may even jeopardize the 1.5C global heating target. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jan/24/us-electric-vehicles-lithium-consequences-research Now did they just wake up to the very obvious or is this part of a plan? EVs are not made of fairy dust, who would have guessed.
  6. Sooner you marry the sooner you can file. Many people visit whilst under progress we have a mega thread on this
  7. I have seen this come up quite a few times with UK based cases and have not seen this as an issue, the Court Order covered it. I have not seen any pronouncements from a Consulate as to a specific wording they expect to see.
  8. Making sure the Order allows the child to migrate would not be an Immigration Lawyer issue.
  9. Well that is 22 and assumes a Lawyer is sitting there ready and waiting to get going plus mailing and assuming no RFE's and possibly other things I have not thought of. But it is their cost and time so no downside for you to wait and see what happens. Green Card is obviously better long term. And sort of surprised your Lawyer is not taking things through to completion.
  10. I would start by asking your EB2 Lawyer, now I know NIW's are very popular but pretty unusual to see them discussed on here and I would think a lot will depend on the strength of your case. I am slightly suspicious of anything taking 20 days.
  11. The last waivers I have seen have been around the 2 year mark so you are just waiting.
  12. I would think the person to ask is your Lawyer handling this.
  13. Atlanta Antifa terror suspect worked as a production assistant for CNN and is daughter of UK Foreign Office consultant and New Jersey-based Chinese pharma tycoon https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11667905/Antifa-terror-suspect-daughter-Pharma-China-giant-British-Foreign-Office-consultant.html CNN on watching for their coverage
  14. We can probably help but I doubt the issue is just one question.
  15. You are going to need a lot more information than this, you have posted this under work visa but you have to have a basis for getting an EAD. The implication is this is Employer sponsored but maybe not.
  16. I am going to guess you did not wait 24 years to start the process.
  17. They might just cancel the B, no way of knowing
  18. VWP days would be dead, B2 would not be automatic You have a return ticket you would need to ask the Airline if there s a change fee
  19. This is what it says. I tend to prefer the KISS approach, the requirements are minimal and not legally enforceable so if someone with a simple income can step in that would in my mind be easier.
  20. Because nothing has happened in 14 years. Agree that most cases are DIY but not seemingly this one.
