  1. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/sep/17/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-new-york-climate-march-un-summit#:~:text=AOC to headline,in five years AOC to headline rally at New York climate march ahead of UN summit March on Sunday will cap a week of more than 650 global actions and is expected to be the largest US climate march in five years Hopefully many on here are attending, I suppose she needs to make some sort of comeback after the disastrous Migrant incident the other day. This caught my attention: And in Democratic Republic of the Congo, dozens joined a protest march through the city of Goma, shouting slogans and waving banners and placards calling for an end to corporate control of fossil fuels. The Congolese government caused an uproar among environmentalists last year by putting 30 oil and gas blocks up for auction, including 13 blocks crisscrossing through protected areas and national parks. Can dozens of people cause an uproar?
  2. Sadly most/all Immigration Lawyers are not aware of the VJ ToS and have not signed up for it. This one is particularly weird because if you were going to do that why wait for the I 130 to be approved. Also does not mention all the other stuff that would need to be filed.
  3. Assuming all she has is illegal presence then there is no waiver needed and it is the regular process.
  4. Marry and I 130 for her and each of her children.
  5. It seems some people have found a way to harvest them and are now selling them. Github has routines for using them. Now I am no IT expert so I am guessing how they do it. This has been going on for sometime, does not seem anybody is worried about it.
  6. I have always supported WoM. There are some situations I may be hesitant, it is not a go for it no matter what. I 824 I simply do not know, I do not recollect seeing anybody file. Not sure I have come across many DIY's so $5k for most people is not insignificant. Hacking has done 1600 WoMs, might ask them if they have done any I 824s and what they think the time cut off is.
  7. Nurses used to have their own thing, that went away a long time ago. I suppose they could bring it back. I actually know someone who came on a H1b, but that is pretty rare. She is a Matron. Well was then. I do not remember if she went EB2 or 3, I doubt it mattered then. Nurses do not have to do PERM. It is all a numbers game really, just look at the number of H1b cap applicants, I think I can remember when it was not a lottery, or at least one with very good odds. As you see options become impractical then inevitably there is a cascade effect into other categories. H1b became a pathway to immigrate, what do you expect?
  8. I had a few photos to hand, I was asked for one and handed over one. That was at the interview.
  9. I never used to see EB2 NIW, well maybe one a year. Now seems everyone is having a go and why not, I am not sure if they have changed how they interpret the requirements or people did not realise NIW does not mean what you think it might. Lawyers offering money back guarantees no doubts help. So follows that demand has increased, numbers available has remained constant, PD regresses.
  10. They were thinking maybe in terms of France 1940 etc, or even Barbarossa, it was basically a plan that depended for success on the opponent folding. With no Plan B if they did not. To use the French a Coup de Main.
  11. They always move, which way and when well that is anybody's guess.
  12. There is no suggestion that the allocated number of visas have not been used.
  13. It is the ever increasing number of petitions and the finite number of visas.
  14. When you think of the number of applications not that surprising.
