  1. It seems odd to me that if you are living in Canada and call an Ambulance they would head for the Border?
  2. Most hated thing and for good reason? Most of the people I actually know adjusted On VJ we do not hate, certainly valid to point out that the VWP is non immigrant and all the issues Without the GF joining us, which seems unlikely, who knows if she will even accept a proposal. Especially as the OP seems to expect to leave soon after.
  3. I do not see anybody suggesting proposing is an issue.
  4. How does property tie somebody to a country? You previously mentioned job and that is asked for. What else have you got?
  5. It is amusing watching the around and around and around in circles we go.
  6. With the very limited B1 exceptions you cannot work in the US on a B. Do people take calls, answer emails, well obviously, there are probably a lot of minot things people do that could be classified as work, can I mow the lawn to help out whilst I am here? And of course millions just work illegally. I know some countries, Canada for example have no issue, others have a specific visa for Digital Nomads. US does not.
  7. I have not seen posts deleted just because somebody has closed their account, now posts do get deleted if they breach the ToS of course. The Internet as they say is forever and from a practical perspective it hardly makes sense. For example if my replies here disappeared it makes the post confusing, more so where there are multiple interactions.
  8. No. You can just stop posting in case you want to come back and ask more questions. There is a short period after posting you can edit or delete. I forget how long it is, a few minutes.
  9. I have always wondered if they cannot just use the Bus Lane?
  10. Another major victory for the Patriarchy. I was thinking of posting this but was concerned that Nature Boy might over react.
  11. I forget where I saw this and it does apply also to supersized ICE vehicles as well. So a comparable EV vehicle way a lot more more due to the battery weight which exponentially causes more wear on road and bridges reducing their life expectancy. I am not aware of any net zero road building techniques.
  12. I can not say I am that familiar with the Philippines Insurance market, I know quite a few of the major Internationals operate there. With the amount of people travelling I am sure there are lots of options. They are looking for Travel Insurance, Medical and Emergency Travel costs is a significant element but by no means the only thing. Just like you would buy Travel Insurance in the US if you are going on vacation overseas then they would buy it in PI.
  13. F11 Unmarried sons/daughters of U.S. citizens, new arrivals https://www.dhs.gov/immigration-statistics/lawful-permanent-residents/ImmigrantCOA
  14. Whether you remove conditions with a divorce waiver or with a legit marriage you still need to prove up the marriage.
  15. K3 would be much more interesting
  16. The problem is some I 751's are being approved without interview which can put you in a horrible position if you wish to naturalise.
  17. Wonder why London is deemed problematic? News to me. Paris, I see very few cases on here, I doubt I have seen an O1, so what would be your plan if it ends up taking longer, chill and enjoy the sites?
  18. I have seen people get away with all sorts of weird stuff. Until they do not. I take it you realise how long a F2b will take?
  19. The way I read it is that the OP changed status successfully having won the lottery last year. Then left, not sure many people would advise to do that, During the process of getting a visa to come back he was laid off, the tricky bit will be finding a new employer. These cases tend to be India and IT.
  20. One big issue apart from the other stuff is maxing out the VWP, the max stay is 90 days and you description covers 4 months, so not sure exactly what the dates are but she should not leave it close, delays etc happen and she does not want to lose her VWP privileges. Sadly there are a lot of dodgy lawyers out there. The other thing she might be asked about is how come she has so much vacation.
  21. I would not go in that direction, no obvious visa for that.
  22. It has been so long since I have seen a K3, from memory a K3 is good for 2 years rather than 90 days. So you would need to marry, then file for K3 then move then file to adjust and obtain adjustment all within 2 years to need to remove conditions, all of which seems unlikely, on top of actually getting a K3 in the first place. If it is something else well then all bets are off.
