  1. Also you are working in the basis the K1 will be approved, we do not know the story.
  2. Strongly suggest you do some research on your options, I never know if the Lawyer in these situations has been misunderstood or is incompetent.
  3. OK near future can have many definitions but that sound contrary to a K1. K1's are not the fastest.
  4. Used to amuse me being instructed about flotation devices flying across the Atlantic. So we are going to crash from 30,000 ft. somehow survive that, then get out, and survive for how long in water a few degrees above freezing.
  5. I am sure I did not get mine witnessed, is this a new thing?
  6. OP said Lawyer wanted it notarised not USCIS. Why can it not be written in English?
  7. I have never seen any suggestions that one way was faster than another, if it was then everyone should or would go that way. Obviously it is an intern or junior staffer that handles these, no doubt some are more diligent in passing them on than others. 2 months seems the normal time to review
  8. All they can do is pass it on on your behalf Expedite timelines are much longer now, obviously varies but seem to be around 2 months
  9. I am going to guess your in laws gave it to them
  10. Hopefully you have a passport https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/mar/07/pakistanis-leaving-country-inflation-job-losses-crisis Pakistanis are leaving our country in droves due to inflation and job losses – who can blame them? Last month, Anthony Soshil went to renew his passport in Lahore at a normally sleepy bureaucratic office. He had a contact there and expected to be ushered straight to the counter. Instead, he was flung into a melee of thousands of desperate people. Fights were breaking out everywhere. Police were summoned to quell the crowds. Quickly overwhelmed, the police called the army. Last year, more than 800,000 Pakistanis left the country in search of better economic prospects abroad. With rocketing inflation and the rupee devaluing by 30% during 2022, millions of urban middle-class people have been pushed to the brink of poverty. Cataclysmic floods have ravaged the rural poor. With only enough foreign reserves to pay for less than a month of imports, the state is on its knees.
  11. Where are they now? Why did you not apply for U4U?
  12. R is the top of the tree as far as fraud is concerned, you really need to be asking your Lawyer these questions.
  13. Let us go back to basics, why do they want to immigrate to the US?
  14. Snowbirds are Canadians who spend some of the winter in the southern US. Sounds kike they will American Residents who will spend some of their time in Canada. The Property issue mainly relates to capital gains and how they are treated.
