United For Ukraine and Expired Ukraine Passport
Boiler replied to Bickel's topic in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
The only place she can go to without crossing the front line is Russia. Any place she can fly from to the US will have a Consulate she can update her passport. -

United For Ukraine and Expired Ukraine Passport
Boiler replied to Bickel's topic in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
She qualifies for U4U, just a question of filing and waiting. -
Unless they are cheap and chips and very light it would be more logical to have the size. And you would need a 1200kw supply if I have done my maths right, the equivalent of a 1,000 average houses. Or a gas station dispensing 6000 gallons a day. That is a lot of juice. Toyota I read are losing a bundle and this is years ahead and if the technology and manufacturing process are know it will just be copied. The big market is of course in mass transportation, no point if this going be competing with Lucid.

I am not sure what you mean by Refugee Visa, that does not exist now US offers Humanitarian Parole, this used to be pretty quick to get but is now taking much longer. -
Well this is awkward. Apologies if there is any misgendering, just quoting the article. https://nypost.com/2023/07/04/kimbrady-carriker-ided-as-philadelphia-gunman-accused-of-killing-5/ The rifle-wielding suspect who donned a bulletproof vest before allegedly shooting dead five men and injuring two children in Philadelphia has been identified as a Black Lives Matter supporter who shared gun-toting memes on social media. Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was nabbed shortly after the bloodshed in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing sources. Cops haven’t yet publicly disclosed the suspect’s identity. On his Facebook page, Carriker posted two pictures of him wearing a bra, a women’s top and earrings with his hair braided long in March, three months before the alleged shooting. He also regularly posts about supporting Black Lives Matter, including supporting workers who protested in the Strike For Black Lives in July 2020.

There was no online when I went through the process and the system is not really online now. Uncle should be fine. Until they pull their finger out there is nothing more for them to tell you, I would think you have a few more months to go before you hear anything, you can see here how others are doing. When I did my Medical it was same day, different now and a week or two before the interview. This always amuses me, we have gone backwards. Ditto visa issuance used to be same day now usually a week or so. From what I have seen the sort of things you are doing are enough for London and Residency. You are not really applying from abroad, there is a separate DCF process but no need to go into that. Generally seems to take 18 months, maybe quicker, so you are about half way through. -

You will need to show US Domicile not Residence and the Consulate in London is usually fairly lenient on that. I assume the child is also a USC. There is only one Doctor to use for London and I would get everything up to date to avoid having to pay their charges, I forget what I was missing now but had it done at my local surgery. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/medical-examination/ Is your Sister also your Joint Sponsor for your Husband? I would have a good read on here not just the Guides but the regional forum, I do not know what you do not know. -
U.S. Secret Service closed down the White House and surrounding roads on Sunday, calling in a hazmat team and D.C. Fire and EMS. "U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Officers located an unknown item on the White House complex," a USSS spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "As a precaution, the White House grounds were evacuated, and the DC Fire Departments Hazmat team responded." In a dispatch from openmhz.com, a website that allows people to listen to live and archived radio transmissions from police and fire departments, a D.C. fire official can be heard saying "We have a yellow bar saying cocaine hydrochloride." Seems a complete mystery where this came from.

Renewal Tourist Visa (B1/B2) while on process of I-130
Boiler replied to liz_mel's topic in Tourist Visas
I have seen it a few times, not sure I would say it is normal but it does happen. Somebody with an existing visa should be in a better situation. -

Caution is the bottom tier, if it was serious you would not have been cautioned. -
https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/10/sport/brittney-griner-dallas-airport-harassment/index.html Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was freed from Russia late last year after being wrongfully detained, was harassed Saturday by a man described as a social media “provocateur” at a Dallas airport. A source familiar with the incident told CNN that around 9:30 am CT, Griner was at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport traveling with Phoenix Mercury teammates on their way to a game. Griner was confronted by the man who was yelling at her about “the Merchant of Death.” The confrontation got so heated that the man was tackled, and law enforcement was involved, according to the source. CNN has reached out to local law enforcement and the DFW airport about the incident. “The health and well-being of our players and staff are our top priority and we will always take every step within our power to protect player safety,” the statement said. “No one, regardless of identity, should ever fear for their safety. We will be coordinating with the WNBA on next steps,” it continued. Griner’s teammate, Brianna Turner, posted to Twitter on Saturday, saying, “Player safety while traveling should be at the forefront. People following with cameras saying wild remarks is never acceptable. Excessive harassment. Our team nervously huddled in a corner unsure how to move about. We demand better.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I would recognise Bob, but any other member of the WNBA? I thought they would be delighted somebody recognised them.
