  1. It is a new category, the link I gave above describes how it is done in full detail. It falls under the Humanitarian category, but does not follow the usual policy for Humanitarian Parole.
  2. Nor sure what you mean, it is a program that can be used for multiple reasons, visiting was the one I was concentrating on, but you mentioned others such as nannies, gardeners, cleaners etc. I am sure it is, the program is set up to allow businesses to sponsor.
  3. It is very clear what the qualifying requirement is, he can read it himself.
  4. Without getting into details of the medical condition do bear in mind that an Immigrant Visa involved a medical examination.
  5. There is no mention of the OP paying for the trip to Singapore. Must admit I do agree to the OP ducking out unless he is a Travel Agent by profession. Seems on of those classic piggy in the middle situations and no good can come of it.
  6. I would imagine most qualify for a fee waiver but we are assuming they would get a B and it would be multi entry
  7. I had not thought of using it for Multi use, possible and AP does require a reason in this case
  8. It has been mentioned a few times, I saw a case recently involved Cuba, where this person had family who just wanted to visit for 2 weeks. Normally HP requires a good reason, but no reason required for the 4 countries plus of course Ukraine Obviously will not help a lot of people but could help some
  9. I have only see this happen recently so do not know what the process looks like
  10. I have seen this happen a few times but do not remember seeing a case go though the process. I think it is fairly new, I do not remember this being a thing until recently. There is something about your case NVC does not like so they returned it to USCIS
  11. Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine has been called “reprehensible” for proudly announcing that “gender-affirming” treatment of transgender kids is supported “at the highest levels” of President Biden’s administration. Levine, the highest-ranking transgender official in US history, made the claim at a talk in Connecticut last month when asked about criticism of health centers treating children with the likes of puberty blockers and hormones. She maintained the attacks are “ideologically and politically motivated,” calling them “unconscionable.” “I can say that the children, their families and you all as their providers have support at the highest levels of the federal government,” Levine told the Pediatric Grand Rounds session in Hartford. “President Biden supports you … Vice President [Kamala] Harris supports you. Across the administration, the departments support you,” she said, adding that she talks “about this topic everywhere I go.” https://nypost.com/2023/03/17/hormone-therapy-for-trans-kids-fully-supported-by-biden-administration/
  12. https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/oxfam-bizarre-language-guide-sorry-for-using-english/ The charity guide says that words like "headquarters", "local" and even "people" have colonial implications and should be avoided. Staff were warned that "people who become pregnant" was preferable to "expectant mothers", while "parent" is better than "mother" or "father". Words related to age like "youth" and "the elderly" were also better off avoided, to allow people to remain dignified, the guide added.
  13. Maybe the program will be extended but this is what it is for now.
  14. https://www.uscis.gov/CHNV Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans Generally you cannot not sponsor a tourist visa but I have seen a few cases now where people have used this program for friends and relatives to visit. Some of the advantages: No application fee No Consulate Interview Visit is up to 2 years not 6 months or possibly less Allows you to work etc if you want to No risk of application being denied for immigrant intent etc Depending where you are visiting you may qualify for benefits such as free healthcare etc May be quicker to obtain
  15. I am not sure you understand the process, if they want a work permit they need a basis for applying for one first. Also you just apply for your Brother, spouses only come into the equation when the Priority sate is current the same applies to minor children. I would expect this to take a lot longer than 20 years but to some extent we are guessing.
  16. So much for Diversity Inclusivity and Equity https://www.politico.com/newsletters/illinois-playbook/2023/03/16/councils-fierce-divide-on-migrants-00087370 An explosive argument about race during Wednesday’s Chicago City Council meeting could be a signal of raucousness to come in a new administration starting in May. At the crux of it: The council was set to vote on a $20 million allocation from the state to supply food and other services for migrants who have been sent to Illinois over the past six months. Until now, the city has been footing the bill with some federal help. It should have been a perfunctory budget vote. Instead it turned into a fierce discourse between Black and Latino aldermen. Block Club’s Colin Boyle captured the debate in pictures. It started with Ald. Jeanette Taylor speaking out against the $20 million allocation, saying approving it would signal that the council cared more about migrants, who are Latino, than it did about the homeless or others in her predominantly Black community.
  17. I am going to guess you have not read the guide. Everything goes together and yes you pay when you apply. The fees are going up so make sure you pay whatever the fees will be then.
