  1. If you are petitioning to classify your fiancé(e) as a K-1 nonimmigrant, did you provide the following? Evidence you and your fiancé(e) intend to marry within 90 days of their admission into the United States as a K-1 nonimmigrant; and Evidence you met your fiancé(e) in-person within two years of you filing your Form I-129F. If you haven’t met within two years, submit evidence that meeting in-person would violate strict and long-established customs of your fiancé(e)’s foreign culture or social practice or would be an extreme hardship on the petitioner. From USCIS
  2. You stated a timeline that has not been seen in many many years. Lots of people patiently waiting would be delighted if processing times had been halved. The thing that would concern me most is if you are using a lawyer who says his clients are getting their immigrant visa in 8 to 12 months, when I have seen nobody else achieve this. Well apart from DCF and some expedited cases. Certainly not regular cases. I would be delighted if the norm was less than a year.
  3. I just had a look and certainly did not look that hard, this recent post which has lots of replies is saying the same thing as you get here.

  7. This forum is full of cases where children have been left behind, must admit I thought it was odd when I first came across this but apparently not.
  8. Presumably your plan is to carry on your business when you move to the US, maybe look at a L1?
  9. With your commitments would it not be better for him to visit you?
  10. I would not trust the Guardian for details. My first thought was that this was super quick when Asylum can take decades. Also an asylum claim based on national service seems odd, not an Asylum expert but seems there would be much stronger reasons.
  11. The DS160 he completed would have asked for his employment information Not sure I see the relevance of owning land
  12. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/mar/18/biden-administration-russia-deportations The Biden administration has quietly resumed deportations to Russia, an apparent reversal of the position adopted after Russia invaded Ukraine just over a year ago, when such removals were suspended, the Guardian has learned. Immigration advocates were taken by surprise when a young Russian man, who came to the US fleeing Vladimir Putin’s efforts to mobilize citizens to fight in Ukraine, was abruptly deported at the weekend from the US back to Russia. He was among several Russian asylum seekers, many of whom have made their way to the US in the last year, who are now terrified the US government will return them to Russia where they could face prison or be sent rapidly to the frontline, where Russia has seen tens of thousands of casualties. “US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) remains committed to enforcing immigration laws humanely, effectively and with professionalism. Ice facilitates the transfer and removal of non-citizens via commercial airlines and chartered flights in support of mission requirements,” the federal agency said this week, adding: “Ice conducts removals to countries, including Russia, in accordance with country removal guidelines.” News of resumed deportations to Russia came just over a year after reports that the Biden administration had suspended deportation flights to Russia, Ukraine and seven other countries in Europe during Russia’s attack on Ukraine. It is unclear when deportations to Russia resumed. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

  18. Missed this or reapply for a new HP which is free. And gives you a fresh 2 years. Now I can see pluses and minuses and of course you can try both at the same time.
  19. I do not know if it will be an issue, just saying it will be reviewed so she needs to make sure she has her full history including her current condition.
  20. How old are they? Is the plan that they should come as well? Is this a real Immigration Lawyer?
