  1. Marrying asap and going that route would certainly be advantageous.
  2. She can file now, it is a long process. Canada is particularly hot on showing US domicile for the petitioner.
  3. I assume the basis is being the parent of a USC if I read it right. Essentially it is the same as adjusting from a Tourist Visa, SSN and EAD can of course be applied for under HP so that would be the first thing I would get going. HP does give you other benefits, probably varies by State, Medicaid may well be one.
  4. Everybody and his dog is expediting so reviewing an application can take a couple of months. I did not think they had a system of showing expedites? But maybe I am out of date.
  5. I assume you are just waiting, it will take time for them to match the files dues to the process you took. Do you have a Joint Sponsor? OK you did not specify the precise dates but sounds like she is heavily pregnant?
  6. https://nypost.com/2023/04/01/nyc-garage-worker-charged-with-attempted-murder-for-shooting-thief/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow Another Bragg story, OMG A Manhattan parking garage attendant who was shot twice while confronting an alleged thief — then wrestled the gun away and opened fire on the suspect — has been charged with attempted murder, police said.
  7. Did you send in your receipt notice when you filed the I 485. If she is here what are you seeking to expedite?
  8. Formats do change there were no Computers when I was born now my original is still valid so the questions is what does the US recognise.
  9. I assume Venezuela does things differently as usual birth certificates are for life
  10. I have not come across someone waiting that long did you get your EAD?
  11. Judging by the use of language I think there may be cultural issues involved.
  12. Not heard of that, now medical issues can cause a problem

  14. I could see them asking about the marriage, it does seem to happen even when applying under the 5 year rule.
  15. I think one of the proposals mentioned it not being taxed. It did occur to me that they could pay reparations but make it subject to a very high tax rate, win win. I seem to remember back before my time the UK had a tax rate of 96%.
  16. Do you think it is likely the Visa Bulletin will advance a year every year? Seems more like 8 months.
