    I assume the basis is being the parent of a USC if I read it right. Essentially it is the same as adjusting from a Tourist Visa, SSN and EAD can of course be applied for under HP so that would be the first thing I would get going. HP does give you other benefits, probably varies by State, Medicaid may well be one.

    I could see them asking about the marriage, it does seem to happen even when applying under the 5 year rule.

    I think one of the proposals mentioned it not being taxed. It did occur to me that they could pay reparations but make it subject to a very high tax rate, win win. I seem to remember back before my time the UK had a tax rate of 96%.
