  2. Step 3 Schedule an appointment online for the earliest available date. Please note that you must schedule an appointment before you can request an expedited date. At the time you schedule your appointment, you will see an onscreen message showing the earliest available appointment date, which includes emergency appointments. Accordingly, you may find that it is not necessary to request an emergency appointment because there are no earlier dates available. If you wish to proceed with requesting an emergency appointment, then complete the Emergency Request Form or contact the call center to request assistance. Please be sure to note the type of emergency you believe qualifies you for an emergency appointment. Once you have submitted your request, please wait for a response from the Embassy, which will come via email. Step 4 If the Embassy approves your request then you will receive an email alerting you to schedule your emergency appointment online. Please understand that the call center cannot schedule your emergency appointment for you, but agents are able to assist you if questions arise. Should the Embassy deny your request for an emergency appointment, you will be notified of the denial by email and you should keep your existing appointment. Note: The email confirming or denying your request will come from no-reply@ustraveldocs.com. Some email applications have rules which filter unknown senders into a spam or junk mail folder. If you have not received your email notification, please look for the message in your junk and spam email folders.
  3. https://nypost.com/2024/01/22/news/tammy-nobles-files-100-million-lawsuit-against-dhs/?utm_source=reddit.com A heartbroken mother whose daughter was allegedly raped and murdered by a teenage MS-13 gang member from El Salvador has filed a lawsuit against the federal government for playing “Russian roulette with our lives,” accusing agents of failing to stop the suspect at the border. Tammy Nobles, the mother of 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton, argues in her $100 million lawsuit that both the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services failed her daughter by allowing the unidentified migrant into the country without confirming his identity. Nobles and another grieving mother testified on Thursday in front of the House panel conducting an impeachment inquiry into Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, whom they accuse of not enforcing federal immigration laws. “For me, this not a political issue, this a safety issue for everyone living in the United States,” she told the House Homeland Security Committee.

  5. I have not advised anything. If you enter on a F2 you will have F2 status. If you want to have E2 status you need to enter on an E2 visa.
  6. It has been this way for a few years. Anything and everything can change.
  7. This was the question, I would expect his F2 is still valid and he could reenter probably on F2 but not E2.
  8. Was the Divorce carried out in the US or Nigeria?

  15. https://www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/fact-sheet/refugee-benefits What are some of the benefits and services I can receive as a refugee? Some refugees are eligible to apply for federal mainstream benefits in their state, such as cash assistance through Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), health insurance through Medicaid, and food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If you are not eligible to receive these mainstream benefits, you can be screened for eligibility at a state government benefits office or the closest resettlement agency in your state for ORR benefit

  20. buying insurance? your children have nothing to do with your case
  21. Well the Petitioner pulls the case. It would not be denied, you would need to attend an interview for that, but yes it will die. No impact on you VWP, not an ESTA question. I suppose it is theoretically possible you might be asked about it at a PoW.

  23. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/dec/19/trump-colorado-presidential-ballot-disqualified-14th-amendment In a historic decision, the justices ordered that he be removed from the state’s presidential primary ballot, after determining that he engaged in insurrection on 6 January 2021. The ruling sets up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court to settle whether the January 6 attack on the Capitol amounted to an insurrection, and whether Trump’s involvement disqualifies him from running for office. The 4-3 decision by the Colorado supreme court marks the first time a presidential candidate has been deemed unqualified for office under a rarely used provision that bars insurrectionists from holding office. “A majority of the court holds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” the court, whose justices were all appointed by Democratic governors, wrote in its ruling. Trump has vowed to appeal to the US supreme court, his campaign said. “We have full confidence that the US supreme court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits,” said Steven Cheung, a Trump campaign spokesperson. These are the same people who keep on going on about defending Democracy. You must admit it is hilarious. Amusingly using such a broad brush interpretation I can see Old Joe having the same issues. Where does it stop? All the Dem states ban Trump and all the Repub States ban Old Joe?
