  1. A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application This seems pretty clear, where is the confusion?
  2. Please let us know what happens.
  3. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
  4. Bahamas is not UK With very few exceptions it is true that non IS schemes are simply not designed/priced to cover US Medical costs. I have been out of the biz for a long time but even for Travel insurance there was a premium mutiplier when providing cove for US. So on what basis is your Mother in the US? When did she enter?
  5. They allocate where the case is processed. We do not know if she still has a B but lets be positive then if she wants to visit for a week tomorrow high risk, next summer maybe.
  6. Normally yes. No, after 5 years as a LPR they can buy into Medicare, well I assume they will not work long enough to get Parts A and B free.
  7. The company I worked for did the same, I never travelled to the US on Business but we had US Clients and colleagues did. At one time they warned people about travelling too often, I assume there had been an incident. My Brother spent some time working in the US, lets just say it was for one of the Big 4, in their NY office, when I got into US Immigration I asked him what visa he had, well......
  8. You file the I 130, same as your spouse did for you.
  9. More like 30 years He can interview in Canada.
  10. There is a Bill that will remove the country caps, EAGLE Act, seems to come up every year.
  11. Some countries allow it US does not.
  12. I thought they have done Barbie Angels?, now that would seem fitting. I can think of 2 solutions, one is to use fishing wire to take the strain from above or something I used for a Guy once, use a rod would or metal strapped to the trunk. Or make your own? My current problem is they effectively have one price shipping up to 30Kg and part of me wants to max out but that is a LOT of stuff.
  13. Hmm sort of surprised as the DS 160 would have given the game way. As you said it will be a roll of the dice
  14. I saw a few bits and thought I heard jim mention her?
  15. Is she sure they did not cancel her B.
  16. She spent 5 1/2 months in the US and did not work? You certainly implied she is working remotely.
  17. https://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/?i=336546 It is that time of year and I have been here long enough to let most things go, obviously not HP sauce and the odd jar of Branston, but somehow I am more inclined to stock up now, Christmas Pudding, Mince Pies etc, and some decent chocolate of course. Now the prices make me wince, probably because I am remembering prices from years ago. So the link is above to the one I use, is there anything other people feel the need to special order?
  18. https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/news-releases/dhs-announces-family-reunification-parole-process-for-ecuador Certain nationals of Ecuador who are beneficiaries of an approved Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative may be eligible to be considered for parole under the new process. Qualifying beneficiaries must be outside the United States, meet all requirements, including screening and vetting and medical requirements, and must not have already received an immigrant visa.
  19. I just noticed and I have to work! Just wondered what other people indigenous persons are doing to celebrate.
  20. https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/12/politics/susanna-gibson-virginia-sex-acts/index.html I really do not care about her side gig. But you livestream on the Internet, and then claim invasion of privacy. How does that make any sense?

  22. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/10/sport/brittney-griner-dallas-airport-harassment/index.html Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was freed from Russia late last year after being wrongfully detained, was harassed Saturday by a man described as a social media “provocateur” at a Dallas airport. A source familiar with the incident told CNN that around 9:30 am CT, Griner was at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport traveling with Phoenix Mercury teammates on their way to a game. Griner was confronted by the man who was yelling at her about “the Merchant of Death.” The confrontation got so heated that the man was tackled, and law enforcement was involved, according to the source. CNN has reached out to local law enforcement and the DFW airport about the incident. “The health and well-being of our players and staff are our top priority and we will always take every step within our power to protect player safety,” the statement said. “No one, regardless of identity, should ever fear for their safety. We will be coordinating with the WNBA on next steps,” it continued. Griner’s teammate, Brianna Turner, posted to Twitter on Saturday, saying, “Player safety while traveling should be at the forefront. People following with cameras saying wild remarks is never acceptable. Excessive harassment. Our team nervously huddled in a corner unsure how to move about. We demand better.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I would recognise Bob, but any other member of the WNBA? I thought they would be delighted somebody recognised them.
  23. I had not really thought about this other than being told when checking out at a Supermarket now is the time to enter your Coupons, what Coupons? I would assume they were overcharging up front to pay for the rebate so look for something else.
