  1. Well a US Citizen can not use the VWP or a Visa by definition. Now ESTA is neither and I cannot remember the questions. Wonder if they considered a USC applying when they set it up. A US Citizen will be allowed entry on an expired passport, now what the consequences are for the non Citizen parent I have no idea. I have seen people being paroled in having filed a I 407, yet again I would be guessing what will happen here.
  2. https://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/bpd-dispatch-audio-shows-police-were-aware-of-threat-hours-before-sundays-mass-shooting Mention here of several gunpeople. Seems there was a lot of activity going on at the time, from a Police perspective whack a mole and you are not going into environments like that without proper support.
  3. Filing the I 130 should not impact visits.
  4. F11 Unmarried sons/daughters of U.S. citizens, new arrivals
  5. They were not my comments, she is not adjusting I 485 is used where people are.
  6. You can be a Joint Sponsor, his father will always be his sponsor.
  7. Could she get on a flight with an expired passport?
  8. The only place she can go to without crossing the front line is Russia. Any place she can fly from to the US will have a Consulate she can update her passport.
  9. https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-emergencyappointment.asp Medical Emergency Purpose of travel is to obtain emergency medical care, or to accompany a relative or employer for emergency medical care, or to visit a relative suffering from an immediate, life-threatening medical condition.
  10. The Fall of France is quite interesting, essentially the Germans needed pretty much everything to go their way, which it did. I have seen even German Generals mention it was a 10 per cent chance. Now they tried the same thing against the USSR, and it did not.
  11. She qualifies for U4U, just a question of filing and waiting.
  12. Unless they are cheap and chips and very light it would be more logical to have the size. And you would need a 1200kw supply if I have done my maths right, the equivalent of a 1,000 average houses. Or a gas station dispensing 6000 gallons a day. That is a lot of juice. Toyota I read are losing a bundle and this is years ahead and if the technology and manufacturing process are know it will just be copied. The big market is of course in mass transportation, no point if this going be competing with Lucid.
  13. I am not sure what you mean by Refugee Visa, that does not exist now US offers Humanitarian Parole, this used to be pretty quick to get but is now taking much longer.
  14. Well this is awkward. Apologies if there is any misgendering, just quoting the article. https://nypost.com/2023/07/04/kimbrady-carriker-ided-as-philadelphia-gunman-accused-of-killing-5/ The rifle-wielding suspect who donned a bulletproof vest before allegedly shooting dead five men and injuring two children in Philadelphia has been identified as a Black Lives Matter supporter who shared gun-toting memes on social media. Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was nabbed shortly after the bloodshed in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing sources. Cops haven’t yet publicly disclosed the suspect’s identity. On his Facebook page, Carriker posted two pictures of him wearing a bra, a women’s top and earrings with his hair braided long in March, three months before the alleged shooting. He also regularly posts about supporting Black Lives Matter, including supporting workers who protested in the Strike For Black Lives in July 2020.
  15. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/10/sport/brittney-griner-dallas-airport-harassment/index.html Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was freed from Russia late last year after being wrongfully detained, was harassed Saturday by a man described as a social media “provocateur” at a Dallas airport. A source familiar with the incident told CNN that around 9:30 am CT, Griner was at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport traveling with Phoenix Mercury teammates on their way to a game. Griner was confronted by the man who was yelling at her about “the Merchant of Death.” The confrontation got so heated that the man was tackled, and law enforcement was involved, according to the source. CNN has reached out to local law enforcement and the DFW airport about the incident. “The health and well-being of our players and staff are our top priority and we will always take every step within our power to protect player safety,” the statement said. “No one, regardless of identity, should ever fear for their safety. We will be coordinating with the WNBA on next steps,” it continued. Griner’s teammate, Brianna Turner, posted to Twitter on Saturday, saying, “Player safety while traveling should be at the forefront. People following with cameras saying wild remarks is never acceptable. Excessive harassment. Our team nervously huddled in a corner unsure how to move about. We demand better.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I would recognise Bob, but any other member of the WNBA? I thought they would be delighted somebody recognised them.
  16. I had not really thought about this other than being told when checking out at a Supermarket now is the time to enter your Coupons, what Coupons? I would assume they were overcharging up front to pay for the rebate so look for something else.
  17. https://www.givesendgo.com/daniel_penny $315k as posting, it went up $30k in 10 minutes?
  18. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11641737/San-Frans-reparations-committee-proposes-5-million-black-longtime-resident.html San Francisco's reparations committee will propose paying $5million to each longtime black resident of the city in a reparations plan this spring. To qualify, people need to have identified as black on public records for at least 10 years and be at least 18 years old. They also must qualify for two of a number of requirements, including having been born in the city or migrated to it between 1940 and 1996 and then lived there for 13 years. It is unclear exactly how many people would qualify should the proposal pass, but if just 10,000 people qualified it would cost at least $50billion. The proposal will be submitted to Mayor London Breed and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission in June. Board President Aaron Peskin told the San Francisco Chronicle he hopes the proposal will pass. The proposal also offers a number of other requirements to be handed out to qualifiers, including the creation of a 'comprehensive debt forgiveness program' which would eliminate credit card and other debts, along with student and housing loans. The proposal also says qualifying low-income households should have their income supplemented to match the city's median income - $97,000 in 2022 - for the next 250 years. 'Racial disparities across all metrics have led to a significant racial wealth gap in the City of San Francisco,' the draft states. 'By elevating income to match AMI, Black people can better afford housing and achieve a better quality of life.' A number of other proposals include investment in San Francisco's black community, financial education, legal protections of people's reparations, tax credits, and black-owned banks being brought in to manage people's money. The proposal also says San Francisco 'issue a formal apology for past harms, and commit to making substantial ongoing, systemic and programmatic investments in Black communities to address historical harms.'
  19. WashingtonCNN — Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was attacked at the couple’s home in San Francisco early Friday morning, the Democratic speaker’s office said in a statement. He is expected to make a full recovery. Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Nancy Pelosi, said the assailant is in custody and a motive is being investigated. The speaker was in Washington at the time of the attack, a spokesperson said. This story is breaking and will be updated. https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/28/politics/paul-pelosi-attack/index.html Not sure it is supposed to work like this.
