  1. Not something I recollect being asked.
  2. Sadly the K1 has many issues. There are things you can do to help your situation, get married as soon as you arrive and file. Expedites are not guaranteed by and stretch, and due to the number of applications in can take a couple of months just to review. You do have 6 months from the date of your medical to use the K1, or maybe you could postpone the interview or see if the Consulate would revalidate it?
  3. A K1 is a petition for immigration purposes, OK some people leave, but that is generally the point.
  4. He does not need to be married to her to file the I 134a and she can adjust as a Cuban under the CAA after a year. Plus of course there are benefits to be had being here under Humanitarian parole. I assume he would rather avoid marriage.
  5. https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/11/politics/chicago-dnc-2024/index.html Chicago will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention, the Democratic National Committee announced Tuesday. The convention will be held from August 19-22, 2024. In its announcement, the DNC called the Midwest a “critical Democratic stronghold” that helped President Joe Biden win the 2020 presidential election. “I am thrilled that Democrats will take the stage in Chicago to share our party’s vision and values,” DNC Chair Jaime Harrison said. “The Midwest reflects America and will give Democrats an opportunity to showcase some of President Biden and Vice President Harris’s most significant accomplishments for American families.”
  6. I would not pay too much attention to the times mentioned on the website, you have been through the process with your husband and essentially it is the same.
  7. I doubt it, did they ask for the Death Certificate.
  8. Some applicants like DACA have to come up with a valid reason you do not

  12. Assuming they do not marry and their Mother petitions them 12 years or so from now, 25 years through you?
  13. My recollection is that NIWs were rare beasts until a few years ago, now they seem very common.
