  1. I would not go in that direction, no obvious visa for that.
  2. It has been so long since I have seen a K3, from memory a K3 is good for 2 years rather than 90 days. So you would need to marry, then file for K3 then move then file to adjust and obtain adjustment all within 2 years to need to remove conditions, all of which seems unlikely, on top of actually getting a K3 in the first place. If it is something else well then all bets are off.
  3. K3 is a bit like a K1, you still need to adjust nd the date of the Greencard will determine when you can file for Citizenship. Normally 90 days before the 3 yer anniversary. Given current processing time I find it hard to believe any K3 would need to remove conditions.
  4. Most asylum claim ares fraudulent, this is a very long process, I assume the current stage is showing a credible fear. I think they are booking IJ appointments for the mid 2030's.
  5. I haven't seen a K3 on here for 10 years, I am going to need to do some research!
  6. You can hopefully see the confusion, you are not here permanently but your wife applied for Legal Permanent Residency.
  7. She can not adjust she has nothing to adjust from. How long has she been in the US.
  8. I did not think they issued a 4 year extension in 2019?
  9. K3 means the child is K4 and will also adjust. This is unbelievably rare, it seems less than 10 are issued a year so I wonder if there is some confusion.
  10. It is an option VJ has a section just covering adjustment of status, nobody is decrying that possibility. As is often said here intent is decided at the Baggage reclaim.
  11. New B2 New DS 160 Did not daughter apply for new B2?
  12. I forgot what the question was?
  13. B2 is a non immigrant visa, she used it to immigrate
  14. From your personal perspective getting involved in this can only go badly, leave it to your wife and MIL I am intrigued as to what you mean by stuff, and how it will be forced on anyone. Obviously the daughter having visited and adjusted hardly helps her case.
  15. That makes sense if battery production is the limiting factor. The obvious other factor is size and weight of vehicles, halve the weight and significantly reduce the battery size.
  16. You are on STEM OPT! You know the answer. I am not going there. I have an idea how long the average AP is taking for those getting them recently, how long your one will take, what the average will be then I do not know, usually they are not quick.
  17. Maybe a lot longer than that, current EVs could last significantly longer than ICE vehicles. I was thinking of some sort of system where bad cells are automatically disconnected rather than somebody having to physically snip them out. I remember somebody I knew had a EV 10 years or so ago, he did not drive it up here due to limited range, I then saw a few years ago somebody with the same car having the pack replaced with a modern one that tripled the range.
  18. SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (TND) — Members of an indigenous tribe who are descendants of Native Americans have reportedly expressed interest in taking back the land now occupied by popular ice cream makers Ben & Jerry's after the company made a controversial call for America to return "stolen" land. Chief of the Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation Don Stevens tells Newsweek that his tribe is "always interested in reclaiming the stewardship of our lands," but the ice cream company has yet to contact them regarding land its headquarters now sits on. https://13wham.com/news/nation-world/indigenous-tribe-interested-in-taking-back-stolen-land-ben-jerrys-hq-is-built-on-mount-rushmore-vermont-abenaki-don-stevens#
  19. How is that different from for example wanting to visit Disneyland - and then adjusting. As you are in the US Marry file to adjust, no visa involved and then travel with AP. My vote is always for the simple solution.
  20. Thatcham was mentioned and that is what they do. I have seen a couple of videos, mainly Tesla, where they have had a bad pack which the Manufacturer will only replace. If there are not too many bad cells the pack is removed the bad cells located and cut out. A very marginal loss in capacity. I agree it is a design issue, out of my sphere but it should be possible to design a pack that is easier cheaper to maintain. I guess this is the same as Phones.
