  1. It very much depends on the individual situation. I tend to view it as a way of getting them to do their job, get their attention. Now if it is something they are dealing with and not sitting on the back burner somewhere then it is not going to work.
  2. To be fair your situation is extremely unusual. I would re read the N400 requirements and see if you can make something work for you.
  3. At least 90 days just to file. I could think of lots of issues so I linked the N400 requirements. I am assuming you do have a job in the US or anywhere to live?
  4. I would not worry about losing your Residency, we have seen people gone for years without having an issue on re entry. Meeting the requirements to apply for Citizenship is another issue and that would entail quite a few things that may not be practical in your circumstances. https://www.uscis.gov/n-400
  5. Begs the question how you file on line something not set up to do so.
  6. When I started the process I got 6 long form BCs, they were not new, well new to me, not a late registration. I forget how it goes now, did you submit a short form previously?
  7. Yes And of course consult with a Lawyer before you do.
  8. If someone enters without inspection and marry a USC there are 2 main options DACA and AP I 601a Also if the USC is in the Military Parole in Place. If all they have is unauthorized presence then a well prepared waiver for I 601a would normally be approved. I am sure the regime did not expect this to actually go through but were looking to expand PiP to include everyone not just Military. It was an election ploy after all otherwise you would have done this years ago.
  9. How did the Mother immigrate? Why did she not bring the child. Who has custody?
  10. It seems the OP lives in CA and different rules apply. Well the do currently, who knows what the future will bring as regards Heath cover.
  11. AWA is a toughie and I think I can only remember one successful situation, I do know it is not DIY and most fail. I would definitely look to see how her Country views this, I assume you have been able to visit there?
  12. The employee who spoke to 12News added that multiple people complained of a foul odor but assumed it was due to plumbing problems. Another employee told the outlet: “It’s really heartbreaking and I’m thinking, ‘What if I were just sitting there? No one would check on me?’” The employee went on to add: “To hear she’s been sitting at the desk like that would make me feel sick … and nobody did anything. That’s how she spent her last moments.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/aug/29/arizona-wells-fargo-worker-death
  13. There is no requirement to buy or rent somewhere.
  14. I did not think Pakistan had adoption? And F2a is a lot longer than 1 to 2 years.
  15. The US does not have Consulates in the US. I thought I 824s were taking a couple of years?
  16. No She can delay her move, contact them every year to keep her I 130 alive until she is able to move.
  17. https://www.nationwide.co.uk/current-accounts/flexplus/travel-insurance/ Upgrade your travel insurance There may be times when you may need to increase some of the limits or extend your cover.
