  1. So what is the plan after the 10 years is up?
  2. Who knows what she is doing? Probable not watching the ladies on The View. The I 864 gives the ability to sue, which would be in Federal Court, and there are of course defences that come in. As far as I can tell this was a Divorce Court settlement. Anyway good to hear there are competent Lawyers involved.
  3. Why would they think someone who had a visa would not have used it?
  4. The safest option would be to use the date you took up full time residency.
  5. A long shot but British National may be eligible for the DV. Free to enter. EB2 NIW is also very popular.
  6. This does not come up a lot and obviously the descriptions are different but the general principle seems to be the same. I personally find it fascinating that Lawyers do not seem to be able to google.
  7. Super Visa is effectively a tourist visa. The key difference is that the super visa allows an individual to stay for up to 5 years at a time in Canada, while a 10-year multiple entry visa would only have a status period for each entry of six months only. There are also specific requirements that you must meet to be able to get a super visa. Sponsoring Parents last time I looked required you to come up in a lottery. Canada is different, is probably the simplest comment, it does favour Employment based applicants.
  8. The biggest variable is your nationality
  9. You can certainly ask for an expedite to get it approved you need a good reason
  10. US is automatic for parents, Canada has a lot of qualifications
  11. I 864 amount does vary but all the lower 48 are the same.
  12. H1B is a temporary work visa Immigration is not part of the constitution
  13. I am not sure where they are but OP said he is NY So most of these issues could well be irrelevant
  14. 4pm his time zone today so 2 1/2 hours You can find him on You Tube
  15. In this case the only perspective that matters is the Consulate and they require a waiver.
  16. In the US employment petitions are normally handled by immigration Lawyers.
  17. We did not accuse you of anything, you said you lied. We believed you.
  18. Which is why it would be an issue for a NIV.
  19. The logical thing would be to go full AI, take various characteristics and meld them together and create your own trademarked actor. It is sort of done now anyway, Paddington Bear etc etc, so just one step further.
