  1. As a general comment those with HP are certainly eligible for Medicaid, I have seen people post who got it for that very purpose, not Ukranians but all the same. And I also know that there are other benefits they are eligible for but have not gone in to details. The EAD is odd, the way I read it it is free if you apply within certain dates and not otherwise but for the life of me can't think why. They say what happens before 30 September but not after.
  2. This is a US Immigration site, I would suggest somewhere like Reddit.
  3. There is nothing USCIS or the US Government could do to get your spouse out of Russia. It seems from other posts I have read they have not locked down transport out of Russia.
  4. This sounds more like a Family issue rather than a US thing and yes of course it happens and I have certainly come across numerous cases on here over the years.
  5. Certainly my local office could process thousands. I wonder if this just for Ukrainians or all HPs?
  6. I have never really noticed anything, well thinking back maybe once many years ago. Where are you moving to?
  7. HP is specific to certain countries now others can apply but this is a very very long shot
  8. OK so Lebanon is cheaper than Turkey and both are significantly cheaper than the US. So what is the plan?
  9. He will need to prove up the first one before the second would even be considered.

  14. US going for a DEI President Canada says hold my shirt Toronto university’s medical school to keep 75% of spots for DEI applicants https://www.westernstandard.news/eastern/toronto-universitys-medical-school-to-keep-75-of-spots-for-dei-applicants/58460
  15. Well those are handled by UNHCR and he seems to be safe. Seems unlikely he would be a priority.
  16. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2025/visa-bulletin-for-october-2024.html On the basis of current numbers you application should come first but no harm in having 2 I 130's running.
  17. Ooops Anyway I remember one case and not sure of it was on here but the guy could not travel at all and the lady had made numerous applications to visit. I do not know what happened at the interview.
  18. If you want sensible comments best to be clear and precise with the situation rather than making it a guessing game.
  19. So something they could do in 6 days now takes 6 months. Wonder who decided that. You would have thought a Politician would want to take this up?
