  2. My in-laws have an immigration visa appointment coming up at Mumbai Consulate and they feel comfortable speaking in Gujarati. I have heard that Mumbai consulate has various language speaking interpreters available including Gujarati but I am not aware of the process to request one. Can someone who went thru this provide more detail on the process to request an interpreter?
  3. @Crazy Cat image link is not working.
  4. Filing for parents green card and NVC confirmed that file is complete and next step will be visa interview at Mumbai consulate. Anyone recently went thru this can share approximate wait time for visa appointment? Thanks!
  5. Omg! I kept thinking but never realized this. Thanks a ton! I will fill out and upload. On a safe side, I also uploaded the same document on my father-in-law's application and submitted. How can I upload the correct document and delete the wrong document? NVC has not reviewed my AOS for his application yet.
  6. Background: My wife (USC) file petitioned for her mom and dad. USCIS approved both applications and now at NVC. My wife submitted her I-864 separate for her parents. Since me and my wife file our taxes jointly, she listed me as "household member" whose income was included as part of AOS. Latest: NVC approved my father-in-law's (wife's dad) application but my mother-in-law's (wife's mom) application marked as missing document. They asked me to fill-out I-864 and submit AOS as "Household member". I submitted AOS documents including I-864 but they rejected again with the same message as earlier. I am totally clueless what exactly I am doing wrong here and what exactly NVC is asking us to do. CEAC message text: <husband's name> Form I-864A is missing. Please add <Deleted>as a Household Member in CEAC and upload all documents under their name. Please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864a to complete this form. FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial sponsors, joint sponsors, and applicants should be aware of responsibilities when signing an I-864 and the consequences for a sponsored immigrant's acceptance of federal means-tested public benefits. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. NOTE: Exact same above mentioned message was sent when I did not attach AOS documents for myself earlier and then got the same message after I submitted my I-864 AOS document. Please help what I am doing wrong here and how can I fix this? PS: We are making well above financial guideline to sponsor family relative.
  7. let me rephrase my question for a better answer........ can someone point me to the list of documents that the applicant will need to carry at the time of their visa appointment with local US consulate?
  8. I submitted I-130 petition for my parents and it's approved and now sitting at NVC. I posted fees on NVC site and it's processing. I can't start AOS and IV documentation on their site until the payment is fully processed. I've a flight to catch in 48 hours to see my parents and I was thinking to take all document evidence with me so when they will have an interview at the local consulate they will have all documents ready instead of me sending from USA via mail. Question: Does someone have a list of all evidence documents they had to provide to finish IV and AOS? If so, can you please share the list with me?
  9. none here. I think May filers have few more months of wait before seeing any update.
