I met my American husband Christopher playing an MMORPG called Final Fantasy XI Online! I am a born Canadian, and proud of it! July 1st 2007 Christopher and I met in Montreal, he came to visit his family for a couple of days, so I took a 6 hour bus ride over from Toronto Ontario to see him for the first time!
It was instant chemistry, we loved each other! It was time to separate, he returned to Florida, and I to Toronto. We talked everyday on MSN and on the phone, and also together in the game. A week went by from our initial meeting, and he decided to fly to Toronto to see me again.
He stayed two weeks, and I returned with him to Florida on a 3 day bus ride. I had no passport, so bus was the only way. We got to Florida at the end of July.
October 9th was our wedding day, we wed at the Deland Courthouse, due to not enough funds for a real fancy wedding, but it didn't matter, we were in love!
A week or two later we filed the I-130 application and began the visa process that would allow me to remain in the US with my husband forever!
