My mother a USC filed for me in 2003, my case became able for further processing in January 2009 after CSPA changed my Preference category from F1 to IR2. I have a small child which i didn't want to leave so after dialogue with the NVC i was able to have my preference category returned to F1 and is now currently awaiting the continuance of my case.
