Childhood sweethearts back when I resided in Jamaica. Migrated to the US in 1994 and lost touch until December 2007. I found his sister thru FB. I went back to Jamaica after being gone for 14 years, in April 2008. It was very apparent that we were meant to be together. Went back for the entire summer of 2008, decided that we should live the rest of our lives together, so we got married on August 4th, 2008, two days after his birthday. Honeymooned for two days then two weeks later had to come back to NY. That was definitely the saddest time throughout this entire journey. We were away from each other for over 4 months and it was excruciating. Saw each other in December for the holidays, then we spent a week together in February. We are both anxiously awaiting my next trip in April. Our love has exceeded great boundaries.
