I need to ask (and be kind with the "What an idiot responses!). My wife traveled to the Ukraine and once there, realized she didn't have her green card. She thought she had lost it but I found it at home in another purse she switched at the last minute before traveling. Without doing some checking, I sent her the Green Card by Global Express Mail. She hasn't received it yet...it's past the 3-5 business day delivery guarantee...and I'm concerned the package was opened and it may have been confiscated by Ukranian customs. She doesn't have an I-551 stamp in her passport but does have a valid Advance Parole Document. Will she be able to board a plane and re-enter the U.S.? Does she still need to get a Transportation Letter even though the Advance Parole document states that it is valid to board an aircraft for the U.S.? Kicking myself hard...and stressed out immensely over this!!! Thanks for any help or advice.
