We met almost 10 years ago while working at sea. Between 1999 and 2002 we reconnected many times however the timing was never right to take the relationship to the next level. We lost touch in 2002 and finally reconnected December 2007. The timing was perfect this time around and we were married November 1, 2008. We both knew many years ago that we were meant to be together and both spent many recent years trying to find each other. Sometimes it pays not to rush things.
