  1. It doesn't matter whether the bank will close your joint account.  Don't risk leaving your money there, because she may withdraw it at any time.   If the bank won't close your account, withdraw all the money in your joint account (except for one dollar), and put it in another account.  Chances are good that she won't be hiring an attorney to contest the divorce, and she likely won't even respond to your divorce petition.  That being the case, you'll keep your money.

And since you've been married for only two years, she'll likely get nothing in the divorce, contested or not.

Also, your chances of ending up on the wrong side of your I-864 is nearly zero, so don't worry about that.

Get a divorce and move on.

You need to read that left wing progressive publication The Nation.  It is interesting that they are saying this was an inside job and they never mentioned Seth Rich once.

Just a little ahead of yourself aren't you?  Or are you listening to Maxine?

I heard it was just one of his houses.  I guess he is like Bernie and has a couple of residences.

Manafort: "You heard FAKE news, Pilgrim.  Here's the REAL news: I'm going to save myself by throwing Trump under the bus.  He would do the same thing if he were in my shoes."

  4. You already have your MNL case number, so you can get started right now on scheduling an interview and completing the medical.  Here are the interview preparation instructions from the U.S. Embassy Manila: https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

  5. You don't need to wait for the U.S. Embassy Manila to contact you or your sweetheart.  You already have your MNL case number, so you should go ahead an schedule an interview and complete the medical.

Here is the link to the interview preparation instructions on the U.S. Embassy's web site.  They are supposed to send this info to you or your fiancee, but they don't always do it.  But it doesn't matter because now you have it and you can get started right away.  Good luck!

Trump: "I'm the most compassionate president ever!!!  I'm going to give that $190 billion cut from the food stamps program to those who need it the most...wealthy taxpayers and large corporations."

Even after a year, if i decided to get married in my country and file for a marriage visa, it will still cause problems?

I have seen cases here on VJ where it was a big problem. In one case, the new petitioner contacted the previous petitioner and pleaded with him to withdraw his old petition.  The previous petitioner did so.  If I remember correctly, the old petition was several years old, had long ago passed its one-year expiration, but was still in the system.

Edit: I believe the beneficiary was denied at her first interview because of the old petition, and that's why the second petitioner contacted the first petitioner.
