That sounds confusing...I got my SSN issued to me 3 days after my POE and apparently production of my card has been started but no news of it.

About 9-10 weeks or so, I have my first appointment is just under 2 weeks. Yayy :B

If you have the welcome letter, use the SRC number and with that you can look up the status of his greencard. I believe they got delayed for a bit due to the new gc design. I hope you get his SSN soon. I got issued mine 3 days after POE. So the SSA has been unhelpful? They should be able to apply for one for him with just the stamp 0.o
