Our Story
I met my fiancee, Racquel, through her best friend who is married to a man I met here in the US. They currently live in Washington state. We started emailing, then chatting online, and finally I went to see her in August 2008. While there our connection grew closer and I was able to meet most of her family. Near the end of my trip we decided to get engaged.
I have never been happier or as excited as I am now. Racquel is just as excited as I am to begin our new life together. I know it has not been that long since I submitted our K1 visa request, but it already feels like it has been FOREVER. Being away from her since we met in person has been difficult, but I just look to the future and try to stay positive.
I must admit, that I was not looking for a foreign wife, but having met Racquel I can't imagine my life without her. I know this process isn't for everybody, but I would highly recommend it!!!
