I took a class trip after highschool graduation to Mexico. He and his friends politely introduced themselves to our small group while we were hanging out in the plaza. We exchanged email addresses and instant messaging information. As my Spanish improved, we became closer friends. Finally, after 4 years I went back to visit him. We had an immediate bond that was more than just a friendship. We've been happily together ever since.
