  1. Thank you. Chancy. It was a little bit frustrating especially because the replies are not the one, we wanted, and we simply wanted to follow to upload it under the joint sponsor's name. And yes, on the summary page of CEAC it mentioned clearly that if a financial sponsor is needed, we needed to contact the embassy right away as the case is already at the embassy and the simple button is disabled. I will email one more time and request to add the joint sponsor's name and I am hoping that they will do it. otherwise, I have no other choice but to add all new affidavit of support and the rest of financial documents under the additional document section. Just like what you mention. It is just very hard for them to go out scan and upload outside the embassy. Thanks!
  2. Greetings! I need some help and clarification with this matter. In 2021, all documents were submitted and were documentarily qualified, but due to pandemic no interview occurred. This time with the expedited trend going on, they are ready for the final action with this case. Meaning ready for interview. And because the petitioner’s affidavit of support I-864 that was submitted back in 2021 has a lot of changes that you could not change or correct important information and the changes that needed to be corrected absolutely impacts this case as the petitioner is retired, the address change, his spouse passed away (so minus one for the household total number) as well the income. So, the petitioner prepared a completed and signed a new affidavit of support I-864, along with its latest tax transcripts. Also have a joint sponsor completed and signed an affidavit of support along with all necessary financial documents. Contacted US Embassy mentioned the above, they reply “if you needed to upload new documents just log in to CEAC”, I got that part with the civil documents that needed to be updated. But what we were asking is for them is to add a joint sponsor’s name so we can start uploading all the necessary documents under this joint sponsor’s name, otherwise we have no other choice but to upload it under the petitioner’s name specifically under other documents. The petitioner wrote again as the interview will be very soon and wanted to be proactive especially knowing that she needed the above due to the changes since 2021, but the reply is something like it is up to the consul who would adjudicate case to see if she needed a new document. And knowing the hassle of gathering all these documents and reading a lot of cases that they were asked to go out of the embassy and have them scan and download the documents is another hassle. We wanted to avoid this. What would we do? Do you think that it is okay to just simply upload all the above documents to CEAC under other petitioner’s document column? What are your thoughts?   9. Greetings! My brother's case was waiting for interview step for the longest time due to pandemic, finally, many were expedited and ready for that final step of interview. On the front of CEAC information, it mentions to do DS-260 etc. although we had done this long time ago, it needed to be updated. Perhaps tel. nos., a new job etc. So, we wrote to the Embassy and had his CEAC opened. Aside from that, few of the documents are needed and must also be updated due to expirations.

  11. Hello Lately many applicants under preference categories were expedited. And because of this way, the applicants are the one who will make a medical and interview appointment. The bad part is that when you check the interview appointment there is one if not no appointment available. The other day I found three slots for immigrant visa interview, but unable to secure it as family has no medical yet. You obviously could not secure an interview appointment prior to medical; I mean, one will be lucky if there is one then you simply have to print and take with you, otherwise I will just go ahead and bring a copy of a letter with MNL case number on it. I tried emailing SLEC, as in their requirement it say to bring an interview appointment letter, but in the FAQ it says interview appointment letter of letter with a MNL case number.
  12. Hello! The first time we made a medical appointment the confirmation was sent right away via email. Few minutes ago, I just registered my other brother and there was no confirmation.   13. Hello, my other brother finally received an email to start the process from the embassy. I think I am just going to let them have the same medical ahead of time as the visa interview appointment goes so fast. Like the other day there were no interview appointment available then the following day there was one for August 14 then it was gone, the following day there was one for August 22. 2023. So, I guess with this trend of appointment we might as well have our medical done ahead. Ayay!
  14. Hi again, it is for my brothers under F2B category, this year marked their third year of waiting for an interview. I think they have a massive " expedite " thing going on which is nice. So, they sent an email letting them know that their case was expedited. One of my brothers received a letter letting him know that the embassy is ready for the final process, and it also comes along with an instruction. in this instruction it has something to like to make an interview appointment which is totally not the usual. So, we checked everything, the interview appointment, there was one slot the first time we look online, called appointment hotline and was told what they see is the same thing as what we see online. and was told to check it every time, so we checked every day since. most of the time always one slot, but we could not jump right in, but we are still gathering and updating documents. I asked that medical at that time we have not seen the trend of the medical appointment, but once we got online, we saw that there are plenty. So, i think we will secure a medical appointment with a letter that has MNL case number rather than an interview appointment letter, this is why i asked the group earlier regarding that required letter. I am hoping that there will an appointment available nearest after his medical. However, my other brother did not get that letter from the embassy with instructions, but CEAC information summary mentioned that his case as well was forwarded to the embassy. So, I think they both can have their medical. We are still checking everyday whilst waiting for the documents to be complete. We are still the same waiting but at least there is a big chance for interview.

  16. hello, my brothers are almost there, one of them were contacted by nvc to process his final visa. we are just updating all documents as it has been years during covid that it stopped interviewing, after gathering his documents we then will have to upload it to ceac prior to his interview which we needed to secure an appointment, also the letter stated that he can go ahead and schedule a visa interview appointment as well as medical, unlike before when they are the ones telling us the interview date.: ma

Likewise, these users are under the obligation at all times to protect your data, uphold your data privacy rights, and comply with existing and applicable Philippines laws, regulations, and policies on privacy and data protection. As personal information processor (PIP) of the DOH, DICT is strictly not allowing prohibits public or private entities to connect to the database. The disclosure of personal data which is done when the QR Code is scanned is enabled when application/system holds the public key of VaxCertPH. The sharing of public key is only for verifying the authenticity of the QR code presented in the DVC and does not allow access to the database. The DOH may share the VaxCertPH personal data with the Bureau of Immigration, and DILG; and with private verifiers such as digital credential wallet and pass applications and airlines. The sharing shall be covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement and shall be implemented through secured means. How Data is Stored Your data will be safely and securely stored in the VaxCertPH database. Retention and disposal of your data shall be made in accordance with the Records Disposal Policy and Records Disposition Schedule of DOH as approved by the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) under Republic Act 9470. Your data shall be stored following these conditions: For successfully created accounts, the data supplied in the request portal shall be sent to the mirror database of the Vaccination Information Management System (VIMS) as a search parameter to find its match and pull the complete details for crafting the Digital Vaccine Certificate (DVC). Records of the successfully generated DVC are stored for two (2) years in the DIVOC PostgreSQL / AWS PostgreSQL for monitoring purposes. For cases where records are not found in the system/erroneous entries, the vaccinee will be requested to submit a copy of their vaccination card and a government issued ID to the LGU where you were inoculated. These data shall be used for verification and validity check. The LGU shall securely store the submitted documents for a maximum of two (2) years. Likewise, for each VaxCertPH generation transaction done through the Portal, your metadata will be stored in the database for purposes of compiling usage statistics for policy development, and program planning: age, sex, LGU, and date(s) of vaccination (s), and vaccine brand. When and How is Data Disposed/Destroyed The disposal/destruction of the data collected and stored shall be done in accordance with the guidelines set by the NAP General Guidelines Circular No. 2. The DOH shall request for authority to dispose of records to the NAP until such time it is appraised and evaluated by Records Management Analyst and approved by the Executive Director. The NAP Executive Director will notify the concerned office regarding the prompt and proper disposal of records. The request for disposal will be done after the retention period has been reached or there is no further use of the VaxCertPH data. Digital copies stored in the DIVOC PostgreSQL / AWS PostgreSQL shall be destroyed or deleted in a secure manner once the retention period of two (2) years has been reached. Your Rights as a Data Subject As our data subject, you may avail of the guarantees provided by Section 16 of Republic Act 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), which includes the following: Right to be Informed – The vaccine beneficiary is notified and informed of their rights as well as the use of the data collected through the VaxCertPH Privacy Policy. Right to Object – Data collection for vaccination is done prior to vaccination of the data subject. The data subjects are asked to fill-up the consent form. The right to object to the data subject is exercised when there is refusal to fill-up and sign the consent form required prior to vaccination. In VaxCertPH, the requester, in order to use the portal, has to read and agree on the VaxCertPH Privacy Policy prior to the use of the system. Right to Access – All individuals with full vaccination done in the Philippines are given the right to access their data through the VaxCertPH portal access: https://vaxcertph.doh.gov.ph. Right to Rectify – Submission of a request to rectify/ correct the record is done through the VaxCerPH portal. Correction of data per se will be performed by respective LGUs after validation of the submitted request. Before rectifying any record, LGU will do a detailed reconciliation of the following using the LGU validation tool: Uploaded ID, Vaccine card, The information in the VIMS database, LGUs own archive of line list records. Vaccinees who found out that their information is incorrect may request to correct their data. To correct a record, vaccinees will have to fill in their contact details and upload a soft copy of their: Vaccine Card issued by the LGUs or Bakuna Sites; and A valid Philippine Government-issued ID Right to Erasure or Blocking – When the information collected is no longer necessary for the purpose of verifying the identity, confirming the vaccination record, and processing the vaccination certificate, the vaccine beneficiary has the right to remove or erase such personal information. The vaccinee may submit valid requests for the deletion of their personal data in the database. Once deleted, personal data will no longer appear or be included in anonymous searches and will be completely removed from all storage locations. Right to Data Portability – Does not apply to the VaxCertPH System since it is a centralized system. Right to File a Complaint – If the personal information has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed, or that any data privacy rights have been violated, the data subject has the right to file a complaint with the DOH and NPC. Right to the Payment of Damages – Claim for compensation if the data subject suffered damages due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of personal data, considering any violation of its rights and freedoms as data subject. How You Will Be Notified of Changes to our Policy Although most changes are likely to be minor, the DOH, together with its partner agencies and implementing units of the VaxCertPH, reserves the right, acting reasonably, to modify our Policy at any time in our sole discretion, and will publish notice of any such modification on appropriate channels. Any modification is effective immediately upon posting. Like if the vaccines are not available, age, and women who are pregnant or wanting to be pregnant. etc. (read the links) Also, vaccine shots here are very expensive, but okay if you are already covered by your husband's insurance.

    Per Article III Section 20 of the Philippine Constitution states that " no person shall be imprisoned for a debt."  and I think there will be a chance if the credit card is used in fraudulent manner.

    Anyways, I agree with that person that you settle this debt, for a simple reason that unpaid bill will be carried over to the next billing cycle aside from paying the finance charge, interest applied to your total amount due which is your remaining balance plus the outstanding balance. So, overall, you will expect to pay so much. Plus, in the USA credit is important in purchasing cars and a house.

    An unpaid credit card of more than three to four months will go to a collector, then collector can ask the court to summon you and it will be a big hassle.

    So, the best thing to do is to make a settlement payment, like monthly then once in the USA, this will only take days of work if your debt is not that much.

     

    Anyways, I also wrote to you because I was just curious with your timeline.

    My brothers have a priority date last March 2010 and was documentarily completed and is just waiting for interview since 2020. Both are under F2B. Will you kindly shed some light by sharing your timeline. I am hoping that you can give an idea as to when also they are sending interview under F2B Thanks much  NG
