After my brother was interviewed, he was asked to submit evidence of my mom's citizenship, which was annoying as it was another delay. He is under F2B category. So., they submitted a letter of correction, stating that my brother is an F2B category which means that my mom is still a green card holder. The letter of correction was received on Monday morning, then his status was changed to READY on the same day, two days later he received his visa.

  6. I am so sorry. Greetings! August 2023 - My brother had his medical and was told to go back to a certain date to start his sputum testing, although I felt his sadness but, I cheered him up and told him to just follow what they asked him to do. September 2023 - He was supposed to be on his interview, but that was cancelled. October 2023- Started his test. November 2023- He was told that he was cleared and was asked to go back to the clinic and continue with his vaccination. December 2023- I was able to schedule his interview. Everything went okay. January 2024- Arrived in the USA. January 2024- I received a call from the department of Health from a county where we are from and he was asked about symptoms etc., I interrupted that my brother was cleared etc. and still the nurse told me that she do not really know and just wanted to make sure, I was confused, maybe because despite being cleared, I noticed like an annotation on his passport. So, even if he was cleared and because of this annotation, he needed to clear his part like medically. Like literally had to do chest x-ray and blood test (gold standard for TB testing.) So, I asked them that he just had those and was cleared and that is why he was allowed to come in USA? The nurse told me that she has no idea. So, my poor bother has to do it all over again. And was able to have an appointment April 2004. March 2024- It was easy to just walk in and had his chest x-ray and blood testing done. March 2024- I received his Dr's appointment. Mind you, it has a date, but no time. And was told that they will call us. April 2024- The day before his appointment, no call from the nurse. So, I had to call the office until it is about to closed and obviously no one answered, so, how can we go for an appointment with no time but the date and no call. So, I left a long message of how disappointed I was etc. (to have an appointment is difficult and to call off from work to be with my brother is another thing as he could not drive yet). Then the day of his appointment, I received a call from the nurse and told me that they forgot to call us about the time of his appointment and was asked to wait for another two months like June? I was so mad and told her how hard it was to wait and to arrange a day off from work etc. and it was not our fault, and it was very unfair. A few minutes later, they called again and apologized and told us and asked if we can be quick to have my brother inserted for an appointment. I also, was very curious to know if my brother is really okay with the testing done prior. The test that was done turned out to be okay, can you imagine that my brother was a blood donor for a cancer patient and up to date with his medical, as a donor must be okayed before donating, so he should be okay. so why sputum test etc.? I was happy that it was done, it was just a repetition, that should have been cleared prior to arriving and they should not put annotation in the passport informing that there was something? causing the receiving country to have you redo it again? for nothing, they should had known that green card will not be issued if you are not cleared prior to arriving in the USA. AND BY THE WAY HIS GREEN CARD WAS MAILED 25 DAYS AFTER ARRIVAL. NOTE: The time wasted, not to mention paying for another chest x ray and blood test was expensive. The bill was $795.00. and fought about it as at first, I was told it was free and ended up paying around $335.00 with a discount.

  9. Greetings! Also, TB treatment is " Directly observed therapy (DOT) is a method of drug administration in which a health care professional watches as a person takes each dose of a medication123. It is used to ensure the person receives and takes all medications as prescribed and to monitor response to treatment1. DOT is widely used to manage tuberculosis (TB) disease." That would mean that if needed to be treated, then one must go to St. Lukes Clinic to have the medication take in front of a health care professional.

  16. REFERENCE: " What Is a Receipt Number, and Where Can I Find My Receipt Number for USCIS? (immigrationhelp.org)" What Is a USCIS Receipt Number? USCIS assigns a unique 13-character case number to each application that people file. This is called the receipt number for your case. The first three characters of your case’s receipt number depend on which of the USCIS service centers are processing your case. If the USCIS California Service Center (CSC) is processing your case, your receipt number will begin with WAC. If the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is processing your case, your receipt number will begin with LIN. If the Texas Service Center (TSC) is handling your case, your receipt number will start with SRC. If your application is with the Vermont Service Center (VSC), your receipt number will begin with EAC. If the National Benefits Center (NBC) is processing your case, your number could start with MSC or NBC. If USCIS is processing your application online, your receipt number will begin with IOE. These first three letters will be followed by 10 numbers to form your complete USCIS receipt number. The 10 numbers are a combination of the date your case was opened and your unique case number. You can check your case status on the USCIS website with your receipt number. You can also get an estimate of how long your application processing will take on the USCIS website."

This announcement regarding with the shortage of supply with IGRA testing kits, needed for 2 to 14 years of age US applicant. reference: St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic (slec.ph) Please the announcement section.
