This smelt funny, but no need to carp. Don't be a guppy as it sounds like you haddock enough. Of course a new prop is in order in case the old perch leaves for a salmon chanted evening with a marlin. A shrimpleton your knot. Levee it go as their porpoise is to look down on you while perched high atop their seahorses.
Yup, it smelt fishy, but, this threadfin is muy bonito and I cod not resist to bream. We shad thank Tex by letting off the halibut. He thought he has hooked a rainbow trout but the sole stringer contains a bunch of crappie.
He probably feels eel but there are plenty of sturgeons to pickerel the scad with a sculpin. I think Tex has to grouper more often to prevent her to flounder!

sometimes, i just can't believe how naive you are.
of course you should be concerned about that dent - it can cause cavitation and loss of speed!
Yup, it ain't gonna be in full throttle no more!

Tex, I know your story is pure satire, but, you are on VJ in the middle of the day? I guess the bass ain't biting, so says the solunar table. The moon is in its first quarter phase, prompting the largemouths to fast, but there should be other species that are ready to swallow your lure!

Congratz on the new addition! Did you name the boy after Jennings and Nelson?
BTW, here's hoping that tropical storm Bonnie wouldn't be a big pest in your neck of the woods as was Ike 2 years ago.
-
Wow! Not just a Justice, but Chief Justice. Kudos!

Yo! AJ! Yep. It's hard not to twist the end off the spedo on that route. The doubles push 75 mph, and you have to go faster than that to get out of their way!
Hola Bill! Almost every passenger car on that portion of the I-5 runs at 80 or more! BTW, if I drive like Danica, he scoots a la Helio Castroneves!

It is a Ghost Town down here. This is horrible the Philippines Section is dead. I agree the over exuberant mods have fvcked up this section
Tex, you can start to bring down the house by posting a bevy of beauties (including a 9 lb. bass) or a picture of you with a bottle of Coors and admiring the lingerie show at Euless Yacht Club!

They are probably baking bread too.
Absolutely! There's a lot of dough kneading going on.

Congratulations to Jason Day, A Filipino-Australian from Queensland, for winning the HP Byron Nelson Championship in suburban Dallas. He wins by 2 strokes, despite a bogey on the 72nd hole as his ball hits the billabong (water hazard). With his win, Jason joins a short line of athletes of Filipino lineage with proven success in their respective arenas here in the United States.
Atta boy Jason, go get cheater Tiger!

Ateng, don't get ahead of yourself. The next Philippine presidential election will not happen until 2016.
According to Article VII, Section 4 of the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines:
"The President and the Vice-President shall be elected by direct vote of the people for a term of six years which shall begin at noon on the thirtieth day of June next following the day of the election and shall end at noon of the same date, six years thereafter."
Señora, lo siento por el lapso de la pluma. Gracias por la corrección.

I hate the Marcoses but I don't call you nuts.
Wow! The 2014 president of The Philippines has just been elected to the Senate. You da man, Bongbong!

Visiting a shrink does not mean one is a loco, you are more intelligent than that, Ateng.
And calling someone a nut just because you don't like her choice of candidate is deplorable. I would have voted for NoyNoy but does not make me a nutcase.
I hate the Marcoses but I don't call you nuts.
My comment was just a jest; don't take it too seriously, please. Nevertheless, let's keep our fingers crossed that Bongbong has prevailed!
-
Sure, Shahani has some guts. However, she's nuts for having supported the loco candidate (Aquino) and I would suggest her to visit the same shrink that Noynoy has!
-
Happy Cinco de Mayo to everyone here at the Pinoy board!
Muchisimas gracias, Pepe, y igualmente a ti!
-
Gibo for Pangulo!
Vote for Gibo para giginhawa tayo!
-
Noynoy, Manny, Gibo, or Erap?
Gibo!
-
Gibo Teodoro. And Bongbong Marcos for Senator.

I'll pass on meat on Friday but there ain't no abstaining from nightly sex!

Hi Abbie! I'm surprised that you still don't have yours. These items are usually sent to immigrants 2 weeks after arrival. I got into SFO on March 2 and I received by SSN and GC on March 17. Furthermore, FYI, I'm aka Señora Bonita!

Just wondering how the men here deal with their wife when the dreaded tampo hits!!!!! I know it doesn't last for longer than 2 hours in my case but what do you do to try to fix it ?
Fill her purse up with Benjamins and tow her to Wild Horse Pass. Or, make a reservation with Talking Stick and be the first guests when the resort opens next month.

We doff our hats to you, rlogan, for throwing caution to the wind in your outdoor endeavors and in bagging a Filipino trophy. And also, for publishing your cantata (which is not at all bad) here on VJ. Reckon there ain’t too many souls who can duplicate your bravado.
But, are the fish fasting these days? I guess being on VJ or composing a ditty preempt the net dipping of chinooks or shooting or trapping game to fill up the icebox for the winter months. The cold air is on the way and you might want to start hoarding food by now. But then, perhaps there’s an embarrassment of riches in your neck of the woods that might prompt you to toss a coin to determine which activity to pursue at any given time.
