Our Story
We met on New Year's Eve, 2007. I have been to Chisinau six times this year, and we have also seen each other in Switzerland and St. Petersburg. We talk on the phone each day since 7 January, 2008. We have not missed a day. I love her with all my heart, and I am currently learning the Russian language to help me communicate better with her family. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with this woman. She is the best!
Also, we have our interview on 23 Sept, 2008. We have reviewed our documentation 100 times, so I am feeling that we have done all we can. We have a doctor appointment the day before on 22 Sept, 2008. I can only pray at this point that everything will work out. We are excited and optomistic. I will make a posting to let people how this went. We received our visa on 25 Sept, 2008. We had one issue with the police report, so we had to return to Moldova to get a new police report and then return back to the Bucharest Embassy to get the visa. You want to make sure that the maiden name of your fiancee is on the police report. This is key, and there are no exceptions granted by the Embassy. Our experiences with the Bucharest Embassy were really positive. They were very nice people, and very helpful. They accomondated our hick up with the police report, and my fiancee is now with me in the USA! Yes!!! We go walking each day and talk about life and how we will plan our future!
