Did you send the bar-coded cover sheet when you responded to that earlier checklist for those 3 identified items, assuming you've already resubmitted the AOS with the changes noted for #5, 13a, & 13a1?

Congratulations to you two!!!

Yes I responded to the checklist with the bar-coded sheet. The fun is I called NVC yesterday at 1PM and they told me they've receive the documents and to wait 20 days for processing. Then around 4:58Pm I get this email with another checklist.

Will call on Monday to really find out what they need.

It was specific as to what was needed. But the one i got today just look fake,,,

Question on joint sponsor. I am a student and my husband is the one working. We've always file taxes jointly. However, I am petitioning for my mother, hence have to use my spouse income for AOS. I know I can fill I-864 and my spouse completes I-864A. My only concern is how will he report two AOS that were previously issued for individuals who are still permanent residents. Could not locate this on I -864A. Part 5 line 6 on I-864 has the question regarding previous AOS.

My question is will it be a problem if we just submit two I-864 or I should report the numbers on I-864.

Please can someone guide me on this.

I read the first two posts for this forum but could not locate an appropriate answer. Could've missed it, hence feel free to direct me.

Even if you don't file, you'll have to get a receipt of extension TO file later (and that extension only buys you 6 months at most).

You will submit that IRS receipt of extension along with 2010, 2011 and 2012 returns or transcripts and indicate that on the i-864 forms.

They will not issue your spouse a visa until they see your completed 2013 return - just keep that in mind.

It is really easier if you file on time and give the NVC your 2013 return/transcript

To prove your current income, the paystubs you mentioned and the job offer letter should suffice

The paystubs attest to your current income.

Your 2013 return is considered last year's income.

I've not file my taxes yet, just wondering submitting transcripts 2012, 2011 and 2010, and three pay stubs for January, February and March single I get paid monthly could delay my petition.

Must I submit tax transcripts for 2013.

Please if there's a link with the answer, just direct me to it.

I got a QUESTION regarding AOS.

My wife is a stay home/part student hence I am the only one working. She petitioned for her mom. Do we have to fill out two separate I 864 with me signing one as a co sponsor? OR just one from me as co sponsor. Income wise, there no problem since I earn over what's required..

Congrats to all the luck May 2013 Filers who've had their approvals....

Please to those who've had their cases transfer from NBC to other processing centers, any improvements regarding the wait time frame. Got a text today stating that our case has been sent to our local process center...guess Texas Service center. looking up the time frame for Texas service center it shows they are still processing Feb 2013 I-130 filers....We are already 7 months in waiting can't believe I have wait another 3 months or may be more.....

She could get that corrected, but the problem is all her official documents carries that date of birth, and couple to that she's been to the US embassy once, October 2010. Hence the US embassy have her finger prints in the system.

Was about to file form I-130 for my mother but encountered a major set back due to the inconsistency of information on her birth certificate when compared to what is found on my own birth certificate.

My mother's date of birth on my birth certificate is 01/10/1958, but her own birth certificate bears 1956. She was born at the period when birth certificates were not being established in our country. So In 1996 she used a court judgement to established one, that is the one she's currently having.

I know USCIS will definately reject the petition, but I am considering submitting the petition with sealed DNA testing for my mother and myself.

My question to the forum is, has anyone encountered such a problem, and is yes, how did they tackle the petition.
