  1. Hi guys,

    my fiance received a better job offer and they want him to start Wednesday (21st). My interview is set for the 27th, and I already have all the paperwork (letter of employer, I 134) of the job he is currently at. My problem is we def wont have time to replace all the documents by the 27th. The old documents were valid at the time of their preparation (beginning of January). I tried to ask him if he can ask the new employer to start on the 28th, but they need him for a project that has to start by Jan 26, so that doesnt work. We also have a cosponsor so i am not really worried about that, but more about the validity of the I134 he sent me. Anyone ever been in the same situation?

  2. Hey I saw your signature i can tell youre a bit confused

    You need TO ADD a timeline in order to see the expected aprpoval time, but it sounds weird you sent out your application in SEPTEMBER and havent received NOA1 yet, I think it might have got lost in the mail do you have confirmation of CSC or VSC that they received it? I.e. did you send ti with UPS or Fedex or something?

    Good luck.

  3. Hey guys! I havent been around much lately but I do think of all of us July filers very often! I have my interview in Naples on Jan 27 (medical on the 26) and I am so excited!

    Good luck to everyone - especially those still waiting for their NOA1 and those stuck in AP an NVC.

    Also, good luck to Aubrey and Andy with their police certificate!

  4. Hi everyone!

    I have my interview at Naples consulate planned for January 27. I am reading over all the instructions and I am now facing a doubt:

    in the original I129F application we used my fiance's copy of all pages of his passport in place of his birth certificate. Now that I have to go to the Consulate, can I bring the same copy of all pages of passport or should we apply for a birth certificate? Thank you!

  5. Hi guys.

    My fiance is filling out the I134 for our K1 petition.

    His income is above the 18K level with no problem, but he doesnt really have savings as he hasnt been working for long, nor he has mortgages or anything like that. He has a school loan he is paying off that amounts to about 3K.

    My question is: is it ok to only fill out the "I derive an annual income of:" at question 7 or do they necessarily need at least another one?

    I think if the income is above the needed level we should be fine with just that one filled out.

    Am I right or do we need to fill out another one as well (es. deposit..... 500 dollars?)

    Thank you!

  6. Hey guys...

    I am currently filling out paperwork for the interview and I am facing a dilemma.... the address where I intend to live in the US .. I currently do not really know it, as we plan on looking for a place to rent as soon as I move, but Kenny obviously does have an address where he is gonna stay until the end of February. I am gonna put that address in the paperwork for the consulate interview. What happens if when I get on the plane and fill out the I94 the address is different from the one I indicated in the DS230?

    Is it a problem? Or is it understandable?

    Thank you.

  7. Hi again,

    I am reading the guidelines for the AOS process and in particular the I864 document.

    I read you have to state the income for the last 3 years. My now fiance and soon to be husband will not have tax returns with more than 17K a year for the past three years, as he was a student most of the time and just started working right now:

    e.g.

    2006 = 5K

    2007 = 5K

    2008=10K

    but current job shows more than 17K a year.

    Do I need a cosponsor? or the fact that his current job is above the poverty level will be enough?

    There is no real assets to be taken into consideration here.:)

    Thank you guys!

  8. I am starting to read the guide for AOS (I like to plan ahead...)

    Everything seems pretty clear from the guide lines and the step by step aos. I also read the tip #2 for the documents to prove common residence. My question is: do you submit these documents with the AOS aaplication, or do you just bring them along at the interview at the USCIS office a few/many months after submitting?

    Thank you everyone!

  9. Hey guys. I am starting to gather all docs for the interview and I am getting stuck on question 11 of the I134.

    There seems to be some controversy between guides and some posts.... someone says to write N/A, some say NO, somem YES.......

    what does the petitioner has to write?

    and what about the consponsor????

    Thank you so much for helping :)
