    I’m so sorry for your loss. My husband moved here from Scotland and he is now a US citizen. You can keep both citizenship but he only holds a US Passport although he had both until the British one expired. We have discussed what would happen should I ever pass before him and he would choose to stay here too. It’s his home now ( plus he says he kinda got used to not having clouds on his head every day! ).
