Our Story
We met online in a yahoo chat room through a friend of mine who was also friends with him in 2006. She introduced use but at the time I was in a relationship with the father of my kids which was not working and ended shortly after. We continued to talk and our friendship grew and I got into another relationship that lasted about a year. Throughout both those relationships he was always there and we continued our friendship. We always knew there was something between us but were skeptical due to the whole internet. When the relationship ended with my ex we said enough wondering and what if's and lets just meet and see if what we have online can be just as amazing in person. I took a trip out to Chicago and that is where it all began. We were like two peas in a pod and connected immediately. At that time we knew we were meant to be and talked about him moving here to Canada. That was the plan. Which all changed on my last trip out there when we tried to come to Canada for the last half of our vacation and he was denied entry. That was the worst feeling in the world but we picked ourselves up drove back to Chicago and finished the trip there and had an amazing time. We then had a talk about me moving there and we decided that it was time to take the next step in our relationship. Here we are today taking the journey to be together forever along with all of you!
