Indroduced ourselves in a chat room in the now not available IRC Talk City, in the year 1999. We sent each other pictures, and just generally talked about our lives through email.
July 2001 He (Jim) invited me ( Darcene) down for a visit. Jim is a U.S citizen and I'm a Canadian. We met and I knew as soon as I stepped off the plane, that he was the Man for me. October 2001 we proposed to each other, and Jim came to Canada for one of the most snowiest Christmas's on record.
In July 2002, Jim and I celebrated a country wedding in Arkansas U.S. Simple fare of home made brown beans, corn bread, BBQ spare-ribs, and home-made pies for desert. I usually travelled to Canada to stay with family, while Jim remained in the U.S working, and looking after the horses and dogs.
April 2007 after being in Canada shorter than the manditory 180 days, I tried to get back to the U.S and was denied entry, and told to get immigration, as well as a job, or wait ten years, get a divorce and possibly be allowed back in five years.
Jim and I filed for immigration April, 2007, its now June 2008 Ya'll do the math, I just know its been a frustrating time, and a very lonely time.
