I met Ana Teresa Cevallos on a dating website called My foreign bride. I believe it was around the very end of November 2007. We never actually communicated while on the website, but we were able to exchange e-mail addresses and start communicating on our own. We kept our tone of conversation really light by exchanging pleasantries and getting to know each others background. We started talking more and more as December wore on, and I started to get excited at the end of each day looking forward to her e-mails. We also started to chat through hotmail and I we were able to see each other through a web cam. I noticed her smile and beauty right away and we always could and do make each other laugh. After the holidays I knew I wanted to meet her and she wanted to meet me. We were talking more and more and for longer periods of time. During this time while talking through the web-cam I would meet members of her family which included her grandmother, mother, sisters, cousins, and friends. I felt I was getting to know the whole family along with her. It was very comforting that she would let me in on her life. I also introduced her to my 15 year old daughter who lives with me, and through the web-cam the two chatted on occasion while I was on line with her. Anyway, my affection for Ana grew and hers for me, neither of us had done anything like this before and it was new and exciting. We kept in mind that until we actually met face to face our relationship could not develop any further. So, I flew down to Piura, Peru on April 3rd 2008. I was met by Ana and her cousin Ceci at the airport. I was instantly smitten by Ana and her gorgeous smile, and she seemed to be excited to see me as well. The next few days’ she showed me around her city and the surrounding areas of Piura. She took the vacation days off from her work, so we could spend all day together. At night we would go to her grandma’s house and eat dinner with friends and family. Her family members are the nicest and most gracious people I have ever met and I felt welcome as soon as I met each one. Ana and I left for 4 days to spend alone at Mancorra beach in Peru. We stayed at a hotel right on the beach and woke up to the prettiest sunrises I ever saw. I knew I had strong feelings for Ana and asked her how she felt about me. She said she felt so good around me and really felt comfortable. We spent the days and nights together and talked constantly about our goals and dreams. We both knew we were in love with each other and I had felt so good in telling her that. She also would tell me that she loved me and how she loved my eyes. There is so much about her that I do love, but mainly it’s just the way I feel when I am around her, or like now again just talking through the internet. I asked Ana to marry me on May 18, 2008, but we had been talking about marriage up until that point. We both feel that we are at points in our lives where we are willing to accept the challenges of marriage and be in a loving committed relationship. I love Ana very much and look forward to spending the rest of my life sharing all my love and dreams with her.
